The proposed candidate shall possess expertise in marine operations and maintenance, with experience as a vessel captain and knowledge in HAZMAT handling, Quality Assurance, small vessel operations, and mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in the marine environment. Skilled in navigation, vessel maneuvering, crew coordination, and ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and safety protocols. This is a Part-Time, On-Call position requiring daily reporting to the designated facility and may involve travel to remote locations, working in at-sea and/or dockside environments, and occasional overnight assignments. Roles & Responsibilities: Primary Duties: · If required for the position, train and qualify as a vessel operator for HSMST, QST A/B/I, FACT, and SDST Targets. When assigned to these small boats, personnel will serve as captains; when aboard larger vessels, such as the SL-120, they will serve as mates.
