Cost and Resource Loading of Schedules. Required at a minimum on all Clayco projects to include the Clayco Metrics Resource Set for project staff and General Conditions. As required by the project, updating cost and resource actuals may be required as part of the periodic progress update process.
Network Logic Analysis and Validation. On-going analysis of the network logic and validation that it complies with the intent of the project team and that it complies with the Clayco Standard Guidelines for network logic. **Responsibilities**
+ Ensures the safety and security of detainees in custody, acting in accordance with the highest ethical standards at all times, and ensuring a spirit of fairness and integrity in the on-going execution of their duties.
+ Performs duties related to the detention, processing, safeguarding, security, escort and transport of detainees as required by the contract.
+ Exercises surveillance and control over detainees and maintains order and discipline.
+ Makes official entries in the transportation and processing logbooks that are legible and complete.
+ Conducts a security and sanitation check of the area prior to relieving the outgoing officer.
+ Performs complete vehicle inspections prior to and following every transportation route.
+ Inventory all equipment and notate the results in the logbook.
+ Receives all authorized equipment and ensure that it is in proper working condition.
+ You are required to duty carry one of the authorized intermediate weapons.
+ Intermediate weapons should be used in accordance with Service approved Use of Force policy.
+ Ensures that your communication radio is in good working order with a fully charged battery.
+ Inspects, maintains, and cares for authorized equipment including but not limited to:
+ Qualify quarterly with a company issued semi-automatic pistol with appropriate duty belt and magazines.
+ Successfully complete all assigned training including defensive tactics and course requiring a minimum physical stamina.
+ Guards detainees at during transport, while receiving medical care and other duties as assigned.
+ Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with organization policies and procedures.
+ Follows company-wide safety policies and practices and adheres to responsibilities concerning safety prevention, reporting and monitoring as outlined in the Officer Handbook and other Company Safety Policies.
**Qualifications**
+ US citizen or a person lawfully admitted into the United States for permanent residence and have resided in the U.S. for the last five years.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
+ Pass a criminal background and consumer credit check (no criminal record).
+ Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE Government clearance.
+ Armed Transportation Officers are required to have and maintain a commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement to provide detainee transportation, medical escorts, and stationary on call guard services.

Engineers will typically spend 24 months in the Engineer Mentoring Program before advancing to a new position with Graycor.
AS A PROJECT ENGINEER, YOU WILL GAIN EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
Project Management/ Project Controls:
Assist Project Manager and Superintendent in the efficient control and management of the project, while ensuring safety and quality programs are being executed on the project site.
Develop and maintain the critical path project schedule, including ongoing revisions. Assist the Project Manager and/or Superintendent in the preparation of short-term look-ahead schedules and the application of Lean Construction techniques.
Maintain project documentation and expedite to the Owner, Architect, and Engineers for approval. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the provisions and requirements of all contract documents, including plans, specifications, owner's contract, subcontracts and purchase orders.
Assist in the procurement of equipment and materials, and track and expedite their delivery.
Track and evaluate subcontractor and vendor performance. Interact with subcontractors and vendors regarding technical and contractual matters.
Estimating/ Preconstruction Services:
Assist in the preparation of estimates and quotations to obtain project work. Assist the Project Manager and/or Estimator in bid preparation, subcontractor/vendor solicitation, evaluation and award.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE GRAYCOR ENGINEERING MENTORING PROGRAM, YOU WILL NEED:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or other relevant technical discipline.
0-3 years of relevant construction internship or post-undergraduate experience.
The ability to travel extensively and temporarily reside at the project site for extended periods of time, with travel home provided every other weekend. Travel subsistence pay and travel incentive bonuses may apply.
Ambition to grow professionally and acquire new knowledge and skills. Our most successful Engineers are motivated to succeed and are passionate about construction across a variety of projects. Our typical project portfolio includes retail mall development, entertainment/ recreational, hospitality/lodging, office, logistics/distribution and cold storage, manufacturing, and green/ LEED building industries.

Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite. Additional basic knowledge of scheduling, estimating and takeoff software is a plus. We use Primavera P6, WinEst and On-Screen Takeoff.

The Role We Want You For
The MEP Project Manager role is to provide quality control for mechanical, electrical, plumbing design, bidding, and construction for Clayco projects. This includes development of MEP scope documents, MEP bid package development at very early stages of scope development, and subcontractor negotiations. This role also provides document review / leadership to design team and clients, responds to scope modification evaluations during construction, and is the sounding board between original scope and field scope. As well as on-site supervision and coordination of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and elevator subcontractors, and successful completion of construction projects to meet time and cost objectives with respect to quality, contracts, and scheduling. Observe work in the field and compare to drawings to ensure details are installed per the drawings and specifications. Be a key part in developing and implementing Clayco Commissioning process.
The Specifics of the Role
Plans, MEP systems interrelationships, construction sequencing and project schedule.
Facilitate problem solving, as may arise, between MEP Subcontractors during construction.
Validate design issues related to MEP and suggest alternative solutions.
Assist in the receipt and review of MEP submittals.
Log and post all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings.
Assist in the scope review, budgeting, and justification of MEP change work order.
Assist in Quality Control process of the installation of MEP work.
Work with Project management team to direct, monitor and oversee the activities of MEP Subcontractor.
Coordination and administration of MEP related materials, systems, and shop drawings submittals.
Liaison with Consultant MEP Engineers, Inspectors, and relevant staff.
Ensure that MEP Subcontractors provides and adheres to relevant Quality documentation/records.
Ensure that MEP Subcontractors adheres to Project safety regulations.
Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
6-10 years of experience in the field or building mechanical/electrical commissioning experience.
Have commissioning experience or certification of ASHRAE or BCA (University of Wisconsin Extension).
Know plumbing and fire protection field and Commissioning requirements through experience and supplemental training courses.
Know electrical systems basics and have a good working knowledge of NEC for field reviews and Commissioning requirements/testing.
Solid/strong working knowledge/experience/background of control systems, BACNet, Tridium networks, and overall “systems” functional testing sequences, steps, procedures, and integration.
Knowledge of air and water testing/adjusting/balancing procedures and expectations.
Strong knowledge in fire alarm systems and integration.
Working knowledge of architectural, structural, civil documents to understand how the mechanical/electrical systems are integrated into the building.
Good understanding of Specifications Divisions and where to go in the various sections in coordinating responsibilities and various testing and documentation requirements of the project.
Understanding of the many common Codes for Building, Plumbing, NFPA (fire, electrical, etc.), Mechanical, and Life Safety.
Strong working knowledge relationship with computers, laptops, iPad type instruments, Microsoft Office, various M/E industry “Apps”.
Comfortable using common field-testing equipment such as infrared cameras, light meters, IAQ meters, etc.
