The Opportunity
Mode Mobile is hiring a senior, battle-tested dealmaker to unlock revenue from U.S. carriers, OEMs, and enterprises at scale.
This role is for someone who already knows the carrier org charts, already has people who pick up their calls, and has personally closed meaningful carrier or OEM deals. If you've built your career inside the telco ecosystem and want real ownership, real upside, and a direct line to the CEO, this role is for you.
We are not looking for someone to "learn the space." We are looking for someone to weaponize existing relationships and turn them into revenue fast.
What You'll Own
Carrier & OEM Revenue - End to End
Personally drive and close strategic deals with U.S. mobile carriers, OEMs, and enterprise partners
Convert existing relationships into distribution, pre-load, monetization, and long-term strategic partnerships
Own the full lifecycle: intro → pitch → negotiation → close → expansion
Big Deals. Real Impact.
Structure complex, high-stakes commercial agreements (rev share, OEM, platform distribution, enterprise)
Navigate carrier politics, procurement, legal, and exec stakeholders without slowing momentum
Bring carrier insight directly into product and monetization decisions
Be the Face of Mode to Carriers
Represent Mode Mobile at the highest levels with carrier and OEM executives
Build credibility fast and position Mode as a must-have strategic partner

The employee coordinates the activities of carriers resulting in their optimum use which contributes to the overall profitability of Epes Logistics Services, Inc. and the accompanying subsidiaries and divisions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develop and maintain a list of carriers they will utilize to cover our freight and communicate with on a daily basis using Phone, email and other technology. Responsible for assigning those carriers as a carrier manager and work daily/ hourly with this carrier to source capacity.
Establish Epes Logistics Services, Inc. as a customer to your select group of outside carriers, emphasizing our/your value and strengths to create partnerships for repeat business.
Responsible for securing adequate capacity for all freight booked in the system
Responsible for decisions and implementation of pick-up and delivery to ensure customer requirements are met.
Responsible for tracking and tracing their loads scheduled for pick-up, and those with delivery status to ensure Customer Requirements are met with on time service and correct equipment.
Responsible for meeting/exceeding Load count, Margin $, and Margin % budget Goals
Identify major issues between carrier and Epes Logistics and bring to resolution.
Coordinate and monitor performance of affiliate and partner carriers.
Maintain daily reports and review for carrier performance.
Work and Analyze available loads daily for repetitive lanes that could become “Dedicated.”
Respond and find carriers for all submitted requests from sales, operations or pricing on specific needs.
Integrate with Marketing and Sales staff to establish specific requirements for the customer.
Demonstrates support to the Epes Carriers, Inc. Quality Management System and its objectives, as applicable.
Work with the Vice President of Quality to establish and promote a true quality improvement process to include the Quality Management System at the company with the involvement of all personnel.

The Opportunity
Mode Mobile is hiring a senior, battle-tested dealmaker to unlock revenue from U.S. carriers, OEMs, and enterprises at scale.
This role is for someone who already knows the carrier org charts, already has people who pick up their calls, and has personally closed meaningful carrier or OEM deals. If you've built your career inside the telco ecosystem and want real ownership, real upside, and a direct line to the CEO, this role is for you.

The purpose of the Carrier Operations Engineer is to provide technical evaluation as well as onboarding of services with potential or existing Telephony Carriers. o Coordinate between Business Units to translate technical and commercial needs into viable interconnection solutions for backbone, IP Transit, wavelengths and MPLS

o Provide technical input on MSA/SLAs
o Collaborate with Carrier Provisioners to track and manage procurement and delivery of telecom infrastructure services such as IP transit, wavelength, MPLS.

Skills/Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree and 5yrs experience in within the telecommunication industry
o Strong working knowledge on global telecom concepts; circuit procurement, delivery and service assurance procedures.
o 3-5 years experience designing or maintaining Wide Area Networks, Multi-homed Internet connectivity, and SIP infrastructures.
o Experienced with carrier relations management, (supplier mgmt) fostering a relationship with technical account teams.
o Ability to articulate and troubleshoot layer 1, 2, and 3 connectivity.
o Confidence and ability to lead troubleshooting and escalation efforts with service providers
o Knowledge of milestones within the Telecom provisioning process and how to manage the lifecycle

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING
We have assignments available to help our
insurance carrier
clients in Operations Support or Underwriting Assistant positions. Responsibilities include:
Perform required support functions for Underwriting.
Work directly with underwriting and audit staff on ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all transactions to maximize product quality delivered to our customers.
Complete operational tasks such as ordering MVR's, inspections and reviews, financial reports, and other similar tasks as requested.
Perform new business submission clearance, data entry of new business submission information and Broker of Record requests.
Process new business and renewal related transactions in a timely manner. Transactions may include data input, quoting, rating or pricing revisions, coding, policy issuance, forms attachment, endorsements, premium audits, cancellations, and reinstatements for
multiple lines of business
.
Work with underwriters and other functional areas to resolve any discrepancies.
TO BECOME A WORK-AT-HOME VINTAGE EXPERT, WE REQUIRE
25 years of full-time work experience
10 most recent years of insurance carrier experience
