Perform required support functions for Underwriting.
Work directly with underwriting and audit staff on ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all transactions to maximize product quality delivered to our customers.
Complete operational tasks such as ordering MVR's, inspections and reviews, financial reports, and other similar tasks as requested.
Perform new business submission clearance, data entry of new business submission information and Broker of Record requests.
Process new business and renewal related transactions in a timely manner. Transactions may include data input, quoting, rating or pricing revisions, coding, policy issuance, forms attachment, endorsements, premium audits, cancellations, and reinstatements for
multiple lines of business

Work with underwriters and other functional areas to resolve any discrepancies.

Wieland is hiring a Assembler/Equipment Operator. The Assembler/Equipment Operator will be responsible for ensuring that components are machined and finished as specified by the detailed drawings and procedures of the company, while meeting the defined quality standards. We are seeking a flexible individual who can manage varying job duties from day to day.
This role is located in Delaware, OH and will be fully on-site.
Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour plus $0.75 shift differential
Schedule: 2nd shift Monday - Thursday (4:00pm - 2:30am)
Training will be on 1st Shift (2-4 weeks)
Monday - Thursday
6:00am-4:30pm
Pay Schedule: Biweekly
Responsibilities
Assembler/Equipment Operator Responsibilities:
Follow production orders, company procedures and directions from supervisor, prepare parts and assemble components into assemblies.
Successfully perform assembly operations by means of power tools or specialized equipment to produce pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
Prepare parts for assembly by means of grinding, blasting, cutting of metals, etc.
Execute assembly in accordance to company`s procedures and documents, while meeting defined quality and safety standards.
Maintain equipment in proper functioning status by applying preventative maintenance as per instructions.
Propose new methods, procedures, or equipment to improve efficiency and/or quality.
Assembler/Equipment Operator Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Required.
Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time.
Ability to regularly lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to use standard hand and power tools such as drills, grinders, etc.
Proactive in proposing solutions.
Good verbal communication skills.
Ability to understand fractions, decimals, and measurement techniques.

JOB SUMMARY: The position will work as a shift equipment operator on a bagging facility and undergo training for maintenance. Position requires operation of forklift and manlift. Facility is a growing startup operated by an established industrial company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1-2 years' experience in a production environment preferred.
Assist the plant maintenance program based on best practices with an emphasis on preventive maintenance using equipment vendor guidance.
Record the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary.
Ability to understand and operate various types of machinery and the tools required to work on each.
Assist with preventive and corrective/emergent maintenance tasks across the warehouse and production areas including installed equipment, facilities, and forklifts.
Ensure assigned projects are completed timely, correctly, safely and to the standard.
Understand, operate, and train operators on installed production equipment. Operate equipment as may be necessary during the performance of duties to include forklift, scissors lifts, etc.
Willing to work flexible hours when needed.
Good physical condition. Note: Job requires extensive physical activity to include heavy lifting, climbing ladders, heights, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience in manufacturing/shipping a plus
Good mechanical, organizational, time-management, communication, and prioritization skills.
Valid State Driver's License required.
EDUCATION: Established operator experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of work-safety issues, regulations and programs, and utility ordinances.
Work well in a team environment with a diverse group of people.
Attention to detail.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Physical demands: while performing duties employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds.
Work environment: The plant operation is highly automated with safeguards in place to prevent unintentional interaction with automatic equipment. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work at heights is occasionally required.
