Its software solutions include Mainsail Vanguard, a marine terminal operating system; Intermodal Pro, an intermodal terminal operating system; Spinnaker Planning Management System that integrates vessel, berth, yard, and rail planning tools in one workspace to give terminal operators the ability to enhance cargo volume and reduce vessel turn time; and Traffic Control, an advanced module for Spinnaker Planning Management System and Intermodal Pro that provides control of terminal's container handling equipment. The company s software solutions also include GateVision, a gate automation solution; Digital Bridge, a performance monitoring tool that helps the client to monitor terminal activities in real time; and Forecast by Tideworks, a Web-based customer service tool to help terminals to communicate with shipping lines, trucking companies, brokers, other interested parties. In addition, it offers hosting and software as a service; and integration and implementation services. Further, the company provides rail yard management services; and lift, trailer/equipment maintenance, and switching services. Carrix, Inc. was formerly known as FRS Corporation and changed its name to Carrix, Inc. in May 2003. The company was incorporated in 1994 and is based in Seattle, Washington with locations in Long Beach and Oakland, California; Mobile, Alabama; Savannah, Georgia; Miami, Florida; Manzanillo, Mexico; Panama City, Panama; Rotterdam, the Netherlands; and Singapore.
