This position may require floating to Med Surg, Family Birthplace, or telemetry depending on patient needs and RN experience. The nurse will often work independently as the sole caregiver on the unit, but there is support from the Emergency Department and Family Birthplace. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for neonates, adolescents, infants, and pediatrics. Manage cases including respiratory diseases, jaundice, overdose, social placement, failure to thrive, congenital medical issues, and dehydration. Use specialized equipment such as high flow oxygen, cardiac monitoring, and bililights. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient support and care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a pediatric setting. Current BLS and PALS certifications are required.
