The school honors a Christian tradition, but does not require students to have a faith background. Whether you want to help the community, meet like-minded students or become involved in events around campus, Carroll has college life opportunities for you. You can join the Student Senate, the Campus Activities Board, Greek life fraternity or sorority or even be a DJ on your own radio show. More than 50 student clubs are also available to join. Carroll encourages students to become involved with the community, as it provides unique learning environments different from the classroom. Students may volunteer with one of many community partnerships, service learning or community outreach programs. Academics are offered in a wide variety of undergraduate degrees from Accounting to Diagnostic Medical Sonography to Graphic Communication to Theatre Arts. Graduate programs are offered in Physical Therapy, Business Administration, Education, Physician Assistant Studies and Software Engineering. Admissions require students to submit an application, official high school transcript, ACT/SAT scores, high school report forms and a personal essay. Applicants are chosen based on academic achievement, co-curricular involvement, work experience and community service activities. Students who demonstrate need and file a FAFSA will be considered for financial aid through grants, loans and work-study programs. Merit scholarships are offered to eligible students.
