Control Room/Dispatch Operator is a 24-hour operation. There are two 12 hour rotating shifts, night shift is part of the job. This position primarily monitors operations from the control room, prepares reports, dispatches employees and vendors, and occasionally goes to facilities to troubleshoot equipment. The Operator is responsible for safe and efficient operations of our natural gas field in partnership with the other employees. This is an entry-level position which will receive training to perform troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and equipment startup. Responsibilities Monitor SCADA systems and security cameras Answer phones, dispatch water and oil hauls Perform rounds in compressor stations and fill out daily logs Assign permits to work Document and report variances in gas marketing Determine priority of alarms and dispatch mechanics, lease operators, Pipeline or E&I techs for repairs.
