What you'll be doing:
Oversee multiple reconditioning lines within the Inspection & Reconditioning Center (IC), planning production for a full working shift.
Fully manage facilities to meet or exceed targets in production, cost, and quality when the General Manager is not onsite.
Quickly identify bottlenecks that affect site throughput and efficiency. Conduct root cause analysis, develop action plans, and execute with the site leadership team and associates.
Conduct weekly site performance reviews with Senior Reconditioning leadership, reporting on performance versus targets, challenges, and countermeasures.
Guide daily site manager huddles to establish the day's tone and priorities.
Aid in the execution of Continuous Improvement projects at home site and, if applicable, throughout the region/network, while implementing and training process changes.
Foster growth and development in our Reconditioning Lead and Manager populations by supporting Development Plans and providing regular competency-based feedback.
Embody Carvana values through effective leadership, teamwork, and communication on the shop floor.

What the job requires:

We have a variety of Technician roles in our Inspection Centers, depending on your level of experience - take a look below to see what you'll be doing to help us get our low-mileage, late-model cars ready for our customers:
Entry-Level Auto Technician (min 6 months professional experience): perform light maintenance, fluid checks, and/or conduct the initial inspection on our vehicles to look for any imperfections or repairs that may be needed throughout the reconditioning process.
Brake and Tire Technician (min 1 year professional experience): perform light maintenance or repairs, including changing brakes and tires
Mid-Level (Mechanical Repair / Build / General) Technician (min 3 years of professional experience): perform light to medium automotive repairs and minimal diagnostics on our vehicles
Experienced Technician (min 5 years of professional experience): perform extensive repairs and heavy engine work, as well as advanced vehicle diagnostics on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles

General qualifications and requirements
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools - must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently

An ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
Use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment

A Home Services Sales Consultant is responsible for selling the Company's exterior and interior products and services to customers. The Sales Consultant's primary responsibility is outside sales visits to customer homes and trade shows. Although sales efforts and incidental activities may take place at a customer's home or through virtual channels, a Sales Consultant will spend the majority of their working time traveling and away from a dedicated office environment.
Sales Consultants will travel to customers' homes to make sales calls, assess customer needs, make individually-tailored product recommendations, develop and negotiate customized price quotes, present warranty information and financial options that meet the customer's needs, and maintain/drive profitability. The Sales Consultant will also complete required sales contracts and paperwork, and take measurements using industry-standard methods to ensure orders meet required installation specifications.
The Sales Consultant is responsible for proactively soliciting and acquiring new customers inside assigned THD stores and during industry events (such as Home Shows).
