Friendly staff

During my time here my pay and raises were cheap. As many say the raises are nothing can range from 10 cents to 30 cents only the ones with higher positions gets more. RN's and speech therapy were the only ones that got 3 to 5 dollars raises when it came to cost of living and nearby hospital pay comparisons. Rudy looks down on anyone who is not an RN and will let you know that. He gives the worst annual reviews for his all his staff, he puts in no effort just 3's straight down mattee what. Don't let HR full you into thinking you can talk to them, you can't they favor Management. Casa Colina is the lowest paying hospital in the area. Most leave because of the LACK OF pay and the favortism. Cheap 403(b) retirement and cheap 401(a) only get the one the employee does not have to contribute to after 5 years and if you quit you do not get to keep it. I was not there long enough to get that. Management of Med Surg. Rudy is okay but will look down on you if you are not a RN or Higher. Basically you are incompetent or less than if you are not an RN in Rudys eyes and he only fights for better pay and cost of living raises/raises for RN's. Nicole (assistant manager) acts like she is the boss of Medsurg but most try to avoid her because her attitude and disrespect toward staff most in end up in arguments with her. I left because of the pay like others do since cost of living is higher and I couldnt afford to live on what casa pays. You do get to pick your own 12hr shift workdays but they will change it to accommodate non staffed days if they choose.
