What you'll do at Cascade:

We are seeking a hybrid professional who combines expert-level Encompass administration with strong C#/.NET development skills. This role is critical for maintaining and enhancing our loan origination systems while driving innovation through custom development and vendor integrations.
How you'll do it:
Recommending system changes and optimizations.
Performing system analysis to determine the impact of proposed solutions.
Writing functional specifications, change requests, test plans, and training documentation.
Designing & Implementing solutions by creating new workflows, input forms, codebase assemblies, plugins, and standalone applications (including C# and .NET).
Performing QA testing and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).
Designing, documenting, configuring, testing & deploying approved Change Requests and enhancements to system functionality.
Managing integration of 3rd party vendors and services.
Creating custom fields, documents, and data entry forms.
Maintaining users, roles, profiles, security settings, and loan access settings.
Maintaining Loan Setup settings as applicable to ongoing business needs.
Maintaining complete document library, building custom documents as needed, and maintaining eFolder settings to ensure preservation of a complete paperless environment with requisite document retention.
Assisting Compliance and Security in ensuring Encompass functions consistently in accordance with applicable laws and regulations relating to mortgage lending and information security.
Researching changes in upcoming versions of Encompass and other integrated applications.
Providing recommendations when necessary to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Performing routine review of code, configuration, data, and usage to ensure long-term viability, integrity, and adoption of the program.
Collaborating with project managers, business analysts, developers, and subject matter experts for enhancement requests.
Providing technical documentation on all process, feature, and workflow changes for proper communication to end users.
Working to identify training needs on new enhancements and frequent problem areas.
Creating & Maintaining report library and building custom reports as necessary for business groups.
Maintaining business rules for data entry, workflow progression, and regulatory compliance as requested by each business group.
Preparing reporting for regulatory examination processes including electronic submission of data to regulatory agencies.
Ensuring compliance with mortgage regulations and security standards.
Proposing automation and efficiency improvements, including AI-based solutions.

How you'll do it:
As a Chattel Loan Processor, you will work in a high volume, fast paced, team-oriented environment. You will be the Single Point of Contact on the loan file outside of conversations that are required to be conducted by a licensed Loan Officer. It will be your responsibility to work directly with the borrower and other outside parties to gather and clear conditions to get the file to closing quickly. You must be:
Proficient on the computer and with general Microsoft programs.
Expert in issuing accurate conditions for portfolio loans that are based on the borrower's unique characteristics and then working with the borrower to meet those conditions.
Qualified to underwrite and clear credit and income conditions on portfolio loans.
Demonstrate consistent and accurate judgment in clearing conditions after a formal training process.
Excellent in time management, phone, and multi-tasking to maintain department SLAs.
Comfortable working under deadlines and being compensated for completing job function based on predefined key performance indicators.
What you'll need to join Cascade:
3+ years processing experience
2+ years working in Encompass
Working knowledge of general lending guidelines and compliance laws
Experience in manufactured home loans is preferred
Experience closing construction loans is preferred
Must be able to multitask and work effectively with high amounts of pressure and expectations
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and team members to create a positive and cooperative work environment
