A company without good managment cannot expect good income. As a case management coordinator, you help master good management. You play a critical role in maintaining and organizing company records, including documentation of transactions, cases, complaints, and other information. The company needs to maintain access to these important documents. In your role, you comb through company documents to identify errors and to ensure adherence to company standards and policies.

Case management coordinators fulfill a crucial position in companies and organizations within many different sectors, such as business, social work, healthcare, and education. You not only look at documentation during the workday, but you also develop new policies and procedures to implement smooth recording and management systems. Your work helps to provide good customer service to an organization's clients.

You may be a newbie or more senior coordinator - companies recruit case management coordinators with varied levels of experience. Some organziations consider candidates who have more work experience as more highly-qualified for the position. Educational qualifications vary for case management coordinators based on their seniority in the field, but you must have a bachelor's degree to get started. You might earn an annual average salary of $50,953.

What's a day at work look like for a case management coordinator?

The pandemic has re-defined what it even means to have a "day at work". I'm writing this response from my home office. Work in public health jobs can involve so many kinds of roles and responsibilities. The only thing I can guarantee is that the successful person seeking a career in public will be constantly curious and constantly learning. There are many public health jobs that are clearly defined with a set of protocols and software and office time that is scripted. Many more public health jobs require learning something new about community members, community partners, the system (including the department/organization one works for), the latest science and political realities that enable and constrain public health work. A day at work will involve continuously learning and seeking to understand new connections.
