JOB SUMMARY
Working under the supervision of the Clinic Director, the Clinical Supervisor assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and collaborates with other departments to ensure excellence in patient and family care reflective of Campbell County Health (CCH) and Campbell County Medical Group's (CCMG) mission, vision and values. This position provides clinical oversight, planning, assigning, and management of the work of professional and non-professional nursing, physician, and advanced clinical providers in the clinics for which they are responsible. Required to participate in interviewing and hiring clinical staff and directly responsible for orienting and training clinical personnel. The Clinical Supervisor will integrate clinic goals for improvement across the care continuum. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for daily charge reconciliation for responsible clinics (in conjunction with the Operational Supervisor). The Clinical Supervisor will actively collaborate with the Clinical Clinic Director and Operational Clinic Director, including preparation of monthly and bi-weekly statistical analyses of key clinic functions.

Exhibits a thorough understanding of Ambulatory Clinic function and provides daily oversight and management of staff performance and expectations to facilitate cohesive clinic operation

Ensure that all paperwork and documentation is accurate and timely
Participates in the interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of clinical staff, and performance evaluations of clinical staff in conjunction with the Clinic Directors
Responsible for planning and assists with implementation of departmental training including orientation, competency assessment, mentoring, coaching and evaluation (with Director's input)
Ensures staff are appropriately trained in current services and procedures for competency in best practice
Assists in the development of department budget and maintains fiscal compliance
Evaluates, implements, and coordinates the training for new procedures and equipment
Reviews, adjusts and plans daily staffing levels to ensure safe and cost-effective patient care. Completes clinical staff schedule to ensure appropriate coverage, including providing coverage for unexpected absences.
Communicates with Front Desk Supervisor (when applicable) to facilitate excellent patient flow and provide cohesive service
Ensures adequate stock of medical supplies by monitoring par levels and timely ordering process
Performs daily charge reconciliation for all responsible clinics
Responsible for agenda and holding meetings with all staff on a monthly basis in collaboration with Clinic Directors
Serves as liaison between clinical staff and clinic Directors
Maintains confidentiality of all personnel and patient care and relations information
Ensure that all staff represent CCH and CCMG in a professional manner
Actively participates in Strategic Planning for the department and organization
Collaborates in development and achievement of departmental goals and objectives
Actively participates in Customer/Guest Relations and Mandatory Education programs
Participates in the development of departmental policies and assures staff compliance with Hospital, Ambulatory Clinic and departmental standards of practice
Assists with development and implementation of departmental strategic plan when applicable as assigned
May be required to manage in other clinic environments according to distribution of staff and patient loads
Enforces and models CCH & CCMG mission, vision and values

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Wyoming licensure or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, or 3-5 years of work related experience.
Must have current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR within 60 days of employment.
Experience
Experience in ambulatory clinic preferred. Fluent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) skills preferred.

Summary

Maintain electronic health records in accordance with agency standards. Confirm coding of services rendered is ethically appropriate and results in successful billing. Document and maintain case management notes for clients who are in the hospital or in residential facilities. Documentation will include information regarding the anticipated discharge plan, timeframe, and final disposition.
Conduct intakes, ASIs, and answer questions regarding Volunteers of America services.
May learn, utilize, and support fidelity of any evidence-based practices within the assigned program to ensure effective interventions or treatment.
Provide communication with family members, guardians, and other involved parties, as permitted by law, and collaborate with them to develop suitable discharge plans and follow-up services for the client.
Advocate for clients in many different forums including federal, state, and local court systems, with family, and/or school system.
Attend staff meetings, clinical supervision, and other meetings as assigned.
Transport clients for necessary treatment services and/or community services.
May be called upon to occasionally make formal presentations or public speaking engagements representing VOA.

Advocates for patient and family empowerment and independence to make autonomous health care decisions and access needed services across the health care system.
Participates in discharge planning activities for complex patients, in order to provide appropriate linkage with post-discharge care providers.
Deals with families exhibiting complex family dynamics that impact directly on patient care and discharge, and patient and family support in legally complex cases.
Assists Case Managers with discharge planning activities as requested.
Provides consultation to Case Managers, Care Managers, discharge planner and MSWs when coordination with significant or intensive community resources is necessary to achieve desired treatment outcomes.
Ensures safe care to patients adhering to policies, procedures, and standard within budgetary specifications, including time management, supply management, productivity, and accuracy of practice.
Serves as faculty to the schools of social work to provide education and training sites.
Provides direct supervision to all on campus social work students.

FDA Youth Participant (Underage Purchaser)- Wyoming

The FDA Center for Tobacco Products requires the assistance of minors ages 16-17 and those under age 18-20 to attempt the purchase of tobacco products from local tobacco retailers. The goal of the program is to ensure tobacco retailers are complying with Federal laws and regulations that prevent them from selling tobacco products to minors. This will be a part-time, position working outside school hours and on some weekends.
Immediate need in: Laramie and Casper.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
* The Youth Participant will always be supervised and monitored by an FDA Commissioned Inspector during their work shift.
* The Youth Participant will receive training prior to conducting any purchase attempts.
* The Youth Participant will be driven to and from the tobacco retailer locations by the FDA Commissioned Inspector.
* The Youth Participant will attempt to purchase a tobacco product per the procedures provided within their training and the instructions provided by the FDA Commissioned Inspector.
* After the purchase attempt, the Youth Participant will leave the tobacco retailer with or without a purchased item.
* Purchased items will be immediately turned over to the FDA Commissioned Inspector.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Language: English Fluency (oral and written)
Age: Must be between 16 - 20 yrs and 10 months of age
Knowledge: Possess a strong work ethic. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to dress and look age appropriate.
Hours: Must be flexible and able to work after school hours and on the weekends as necessary
Locations: Must reside in Wyoming
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Ability to ride in a car for several hours a day.
* Ability to stand, bend, and walk.
* Normal or corrected vision to read documents and perform tasks that require visual accuracy.
* Ability to hear and understand spoken information in person and over the phone.
* Minimal lifting and carrying may be required, typically light office supplies or documents.
