Receive training in child abuse and domestic violence prevention. Promote or refer participants to relevant resources. Follow established procedures for reporting and intervention. Coordinate case management and reentry services with partner facility staff, as needed, taking into account schedules and participant movements. Transport participants from the jail on the day of release to the CCA office to review and support participant goals outlines in the individualized case plan. Support participants in completing resumes, applications, and job searches to obtain and retain employment. Support parent support and job retention groups, working cooperatively with the team to ensure participant participation. Provide crisis intervention - including quick assessment of the nature of the crisis and identification of appropriate methods of intervention. Comply with all policies and procedures of partnering training sites, such as Onondaga County Correctional Facility (OCCF). Develop strong working relationships with OCCF staff. Participate in staff meetings, case conferencing and program evaluations. Participate in in-service and outside training, as approved by supervisor and/or as required. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
