Case picker/temp job description

General Summary: Case Pickers are responsible for the loading and unloading of materials and deliveries, as well as, moving them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into storage facilities
Experience/Certification:
1-3 years of experience Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a requirement Forklift certification per OSHA standards is a plus Skills and Knowledge: Good math, language and reading skills Mechanical aptitude Load and unload goods from vehicles Case Picking lifting up to 50 pounds Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility Stack goods in the correct storage bays Check loads are secure Stack empty pallets High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner Maintain a clean & safe environment

Continuous walking, climbing and standing Lifting, pulling and pushing up to 50 pounds Ability to adapt to temperature changes in a warehouse environment

The case picker will work in the full case picking area and New Starting Rate! 19.00 + 1.00 Hourly!

Full Time overnights Shift M-F 11pm-7am

Required Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age

Ability to read, write, and count accurately

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally (courteous and cordial)

Must be certified on all equipment needed to complete job task

Ability to work overtime

Previous warehouse experience

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required

Use pallet jack equipment to assemble customer orders while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Deliver product to the required area. Ready for uncapped potential??? We start training for $25/hr for a 4-5 week training program. Afterwards you will earn what you select. Every box you select is 12. 5 cents. This is uncapped potential earnings! Get paid for working 110% KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform pre-use inspection on pallet jack equipment
• Mark materials with identifying information
• Open boxes and other containers when necessary
• Pick products and make sure it shows the correct selection of lot numbers/product codes
• Record amount of material using site specific equipment to update inventory
• Arrange stock parts in specific order for assembly
• Communicate damaged products to inventory or lead/supervisor

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Basic math skills

• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics

• Ability to give voice commands in English may be required

• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility

• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
