The Heavy EquipmentOperator ensures the safe operation of heavy equipment at the Transfer Station for the purpose of transferring and loading materials in an efficient and safe manner; operates one or more types of yellow iron equipment.
The starting hourly rate for this position is $20 to $25 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
* Opens and closes the facility according to scheduled hours of operation.
* Oversees the schedule of where and which trucks are to dump and switching out trailers.
* Ensures public areas of the transfer station clean at all times; follows schedule per Operation Manager for daily, weekly and monthly facility cleaning schedules.
* Ensures that customers (external and internal) use the transfer station according to all safety rules and regulations.
* Meets loading schedules to assure driver loads are ready to meet production.
* Directs incoming trucks and vehicles to appropriate unloading areas in a safe manner.

Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the equipment in accordance with Company policy to ensure windows, lights, mirrors, and rear-view camera are clean. The Heavy EquipmentOperator is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment at the landfill for the purpose of pushing and compacting waste in an efficient and safe manner. This position is expected to be second shift (3:00 - 11:30 PM). Essential Responsibilities
Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the equipment in accordance with Company policy to ensure windows, lights, mirrors, and rear-view camera are clean. Safely and efficiently operateequipment that may include compactor, excavator, bulldozer, front-end loader, off-road truck, and other equipment using proper safety standards.
Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste in materials.

Job Description
ShalePro Energy Services, LLC is a natural gas service company. ShalePro Energy Services offers a full suite of best-in-class oil and natural gas field services spanning the Appalachian Basin - Marcellus/Utica shale play, as well as basins across the US. We have more than 25 years of production and midstream industry experience and currently provide well hook-up services, operate and maintain more than 2,000 wells, hundreds of compressors and associated facilities, hundreds of miles of gathering system pipelines, and are available nationwide.
Summary:
Positions are temp to full-time and is benefits eligible. Ideal candidates will have some natural gas industry experience and be available for all shifts. Must be willing to work swing shift and weekends. Some positions may require out of town overnight stay.
Responsibilities:
Operates Heavy or Specialized equipment. (i.e. Rubber Tire Loader, Track hoe, Dozer, Backhoe, Crane, etc.)
Demonstrate experienced operation and equipment knowledge.
Performs preventative maintenance on heavy or specialized equipment.
Maintains proper equipment appearance and cleanliness.
May perform labor duties as needed.
Communicates with supervisor throughout the job process.
Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot simple mechanical failures.
Practices safe working habits.
Ensures working conditions are safe and that proper PPE is being used as job duties require.
Safely drive, operate, and maintain CDL A required vehicles and equipment.
Follow DOT regulations; ensuring proper permits and driving regulations are followed.
Proactively communicates with foreman, superintendent and coworkers.
Promotes teamwork that increases productivity and efficiency.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Required Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Working Conditions:

Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Driving, walking, standing frequently.
Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting
Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
Occasional overnight travel may be required.

The Heavy EquipmentOperator ensures the safe operation of heavy equipment at the landfill for the purpose of transferring, spreading, covering, loading and/or compacting waste or soil in an efficient and safe manner; operates one or more types of heavy construction equipment including backhoes, forklifts, graders, tractors, and front-end loaders.
Hiring Range: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
* Assists in the maintenance and upkeep of the landfill site, including litter removal
* Performs pre/post operation inspection of equipment in accordance with Casella safety standards as well as state and federal regulations. Ensures all safety equipment and devices are operational and secured properly to equipment
* Monitors waste for evidence of unacceptable or hazardous waste in materials
* Monitors the condition of the equipment frequently to ensure it is always operationally ready to minimize downtime; clean tracks or wheels on equipment as needed
* Perform and document minor service on equipment, referring more complicated mechanical issues to maintenance shop for repair
* Operates heavy equipment following all safety and training protocols and ensures that the facility is properly maintained
* Observes operation of heavy equipment performing trouble shooting procedures as necessary.
* Occasionally assists technicians with maintenance and ensures communication of mechanical issues
* Follows all required safety policies and procedures
* Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales and services and performs any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and/or abide by our core values.
Education, Experience & Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a self-directed person, at least 18 years of age, have a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and be legally eligible to work in the US. It is required to have a high school diploma or GED and two years of prior experience in heavy equipmentoperation is preferred.
Proven commitment to work and safety, excellent communication and problem solving skills are required.
