The Senior Buyer utilizes their construction, subcontracts, and purchasing expertise to negotiate and execute subcontracts, major material agreements, and purchase orders in support of Cianbro operations. The Senior Buyer reports directly to the Corporate Purchasing Manager and frequently collaborates with estimating, contracts, finance, and operations teams. Position Summary: The Safety Coordinator will primarily be responsible for day-to-day job-site safety inspections, ensuring our crews adhere to established safety protocols, and addressing immediate safety needs. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach to identifying hazards, and constant communication with our crews and site management. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction safety, and some understanding of the unique safety demands of data center environments. Responsibilities: Support the Safety Director in daily safety operations across job sites. Act as the primary point of contact for immediate safety questions or concerns from crews on site. Conduct daily site inspections and audits to identify and document potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and non-compliant behaviors related to drywall activities. Job Responsibilities * Layout, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain mechanical piping systems which include industrial processing systems, and high-pressure piping systems according to the working drawings. * Cut and bevel pipe using oxy-fuel cutting torches, mechanical beveller's or a combination of power and hand tools. * Must be proficient in making rolling offsets, fish mouths, laterals and consistently fabricating pipe to the correct dimension. * Measure, fabricate, and fit up butt-weld, socket weld, "V" grove pipe, valves, hangers, and threaded piping systems. * Operate threading machine equipment. * Ability to use rigging to move and get the pipe in place. Cianbro is looking for a highly experienced heavy civil estimator to join the team. This position requires the preparation of contract proposal estimates for a variety of complex projects. The position will also involve the review of proposals, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents to estimate, in addition to determining the suitability of the project for Cianbro and the availability of resources to bid the project and continually monitors the work through completion. This role offers the flexibility of working at one of our offices located in Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland Connecticut, Maryland, and Illinois.This position offers scheduling flexibility to split time between office and remote work. Based on experience and qualifications, the candidate will be hired at either an Estimator or Senior Estimator level. The Project Engineer works with the project team to provide technical support around quality controls, blueprint and contract compliance, scheduling, documentation, and engineering means and methods on-site. They must also ensure the project is constructed in a safe, ethical manner and compliant with all federal, state, and local laws.
