CLASSIFICATION: Hourly, Non-Exempt JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for enacting cash and credit card transactions for menu items purchased by guests throughout the daily restaurant serving hours. ACCOUNTABLE TO: Restaurant General Manager / Training General Manager
WORK TO BE PERFORMED
:
Greet guests, receive food orders, repeat food orders, charge the appropriate price for each menu item ordered by guests, receive the correct amount tendered by guests and provide the correct change for each transaction.
Be able to enact gift cards requested by guests.
Be very familiar with and up to date with California Fish Grill Restaurant's menu and prices.
Interact with guests in a friendly/fast manner.
Ability to make corrections to guest orders in a fast and efficient manner.
Ability to determine counterfeit money and respond to situations involving counterfeit money.
Assure age requirements are verified prior to serving alcoholic beverages.
Treat all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction.
Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.

Completes requirements for in-service training, acceptable attendance, uniform and dress codes including personal hygiene, and other work duties as assigned
