Place orders for guests in-person and over the phone; upsell and maintain knowledge of menu and sauce descriptions, along with new items and promotions. Be knowledgeable on menu offerings, sauce descriptions, and promotions to better assist guests in making order recommendations and answering questions. Monitor that all orders are ready within the quoted guest order readiness times. Verify the accuracy and presentation of all guest orders before delivery to guests to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction. Strong cash handling skills to accurately process cash, credit card and gift card transactions, and balance of register at end of shift. Assist in maintaining a clean workplace; keep the Front of House (FOH) clean and stocked; including restrooms. Restocking products during periods of downtime or as directed. Practice safe food handling procedures by following all safety and sanitation guidelines; promote safety in the workplace. Maintain a professional and presentable appearance according to the company's Uniform Standards Receive and handle complaints from guests and guide the manager on duty if a problem requires escalation. PORT MADISON ENTERPRISES RETAIL Masi Shop- C-Store Attendant Performs all duties related to retail sales to include stocking of merchandise. May prepare food items while insuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained.
