The World Equestrian Center is searching for an Outlet Cashier to join our team. The Ideal candidates must have excellent customer service skills, experience in food and beverage services and a desire to provide great experience for our guests. Primary Responsibilities: * Assist all customers with purchases and other requests. * Understand and adhere to guidelines on restricted sales items. * Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed. * Implement and follow all cash handling procedures. * Stay current on all shows, promotions, and future events within the Center and local area. * Label, stock, and inventory. * Maintain an awareness of inventory/stock. * Maintain store cleanliness and appearance. * Provide excellent customer service. General Position Objectives: The Key Holder is responsible for assisting customers with the purchase of products and services. The Key Holder should consistently deliver high quality customer service. Will consistently exceed sales and operations goals. The Key Holder is responsible for store appearance, as well as assisting in operational assignments and projects assigned by management. The Key Holder is additionally responsible for assisting with store opening and closing items. Sales Achieve and exceed established weekly sales quotas. Deliver complete, high quality sales that exceed the company's benchmark on key metrics. Practice specific behaviors and best practices to generate and maximize sales and key metrics, as indicated by management. Regularly check sales paperwork to review for discrepancies/errors. Use proper judgment to avoid fraudulent purchases or theft. Operations Complete all required training within the timeline established by management. Maintain store appearance. Adhere to all policies, as outlined in the Employee Handbook and other company communications. Follow all Cash Depositing procedures as outlined by management. When opening or closing a store, accurate and timely completion of related checklists. Immediate communication of any inventory deficiency to management. Merchandising Participate in marketing events that are held both at your location and within the district as required. Protect and maintain Company assets by following security guidelines provided by management. Assist with merchandise arrangement and display items within the location. Primary Responsibilities & Accountabilities Provide continuous attention to customer needs; greet, assist and thank customers in a prompt, courteous and friendly manner. Listen to and appropriately escalate customer concerns to management with a positive attitude. Manage lane according to service standards. Inform customers of specials and promotions as requested by company or store management Properly record sales through the scanning system; operate cashiering equipment accurately and efficiently recognizing all forms of tender and providing the correct change when appropriate. Stock front end products; restock and use supply items efficiently to eliminate waste and to maintain the lowest supply cost. Put up discarded or returned merchandise. Return carts to shopping cart corral. Assist in training new cashiers. Keep work area clean, orderly and free from safety hazards; report faulty equipment and hazards to management. Notify management of associate theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized mark-downs, property defacement or any action that is illegal and/or against company policy.
