Major Responsibilities/Activities: * Counts down and balances the cage vault at the beginning and end of shift, and balances amounts to the impress bank. * Sets-up cage equipment prior to opening of cage window. * Exchanges currency, coin, chips and tokens to customers. * Completes and signs associated accountability forms. * Conducts customer even money exchange transactions. * Redeems coin and completes Jackpot/Fill transactions. * Has knowledge of federal cash reporting requirements and completes the necessary paperwork to comply with federal currency transaction reporting requirements of Title 31. * While at an employee only window, cage cashier conducts jackpot and hopper fill transactions and conducts table fill and credit transactions. * Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the locked fill and credit slip-dispensing machine. * At end of shift deposits, accumulated tips in the tip box, located in the cage vault. * Reports and submits all tips earned at end of shift. * Obtain and maintain most current information regarding applicable Tribal, State, Federal, and Gaming policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. * Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: * Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal Members. * High School diploma or GED required. * One year of high-volume cash handling experience required, preferably in a casino cage. * Some college courses in Banking and Finance or related area preferred. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. * Must have advanced Computer capabilities. * Must be 10-key capable. * Knowledge of gaming software systems required with use of IGT software preferred. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission key gaming license. * A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required. If a smartphone is not provided by the company, a candidate or employee may be provided a smartphone of the company's choice, through a payroll deduction program. * All employees are required to proficiently use a smartphone for company applications, email, and text.
