**The Opportunity**

Delaware North Gaming is hosting a Table Games Dealer School for individuals interested in becoming a Table Games Dealer at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas.

+ Classes will start every two week beginning [MONTH, DAY] .

+ Morning and afternoon classes are available

+ 10 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Thursday

+ 6 week program

+ Classes are free for selected candidates

+ Must be 21 years old

Upon successful completion of the school, candidates may apply to become a dealer at Southland Casino. Although you are eligible to apply for a position with Southland Casino, acceptance into the Dealer School is not an offer of employment and there is no guarantee of an offer of employment upon completion of the program.

Starting pay: $15 / hour.

**Qualifications**

+ Minimum 21 Years of age

**Physical Requirements**

+ Ability to stand for long periods up to 3 hours and walk long distances.

+ Hand and finger dexterity.

Maintain control of the assigned table game at all times. Ensure quality customer service and a favorable gaming experience for customer.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Must be proficient in dealing Poker.
  • Assisting guest with seating and chip distribution.
  • Deal the game and monitor the monies on the table at all times.
  • Control gaming cards and equipment.
  • Monitor customer play for cheating scams and suspicious variations in play.
  • Answer questions about game rules and casino policies.
  • Be familiar with Title 31 guidelines, and understand and utilize suspicious activity reports for casinos (SARC) when necessary.
