Responsibilities

• Performs transfers or products and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse.
• Responsible for receiving products and merchandise, checking for quality and damages to items, and the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise.
• Responsible for operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Perform physical inventory as needed.
• Processes requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for shipping according to established procedures
• Ensures security of company assets.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Basic math and counting skills required
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to pull heavy carts of stock throughout facility.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, during entire length of shift.
• Warehouse environment, noise level may be moderate-to-high.
• Expos.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

It is the responsibility of the Casino Porter to provide excellent guest service and create a safe and friendly environment for employees and guests while establishing and maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas in the Casino and public areas.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Sweeps and removes all wrappers, broken glass, ashtrays, and debris from floor
* Cleans and dusts slot machines, including areas between machines, doors, and woodwork
* Removes scuffmarks and drink spills
* Cleans up biohazard areas
* Cleans slot chairs, polishes their bases, and then returns chairs to proper position
* Vacuums entire assigned stations, moving chairs and other objects to ensure thorough cleaning
* Removes trash, replaces missing ashtrays, and wipes out and cleans all ashtrays and trash cans
* Ensures all equipment is returned to department and all malfunctioning equipment is reported
* Replenishes supplies when necessary
* Responds to and resolves guest challenges in a timely manner and creatively solves problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficulties
* Perform other job-related duties as requested

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

* Ability to work safely, including understanding and following company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions; this also includes being aware of unsafe conditions such as spills, wet areas, debris, and addressing quickly and efficiently
* Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
* Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
* Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
* Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
* Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

* Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

PREFERRED:

* Six (6) months of general cleaning experience
* Experience with professional cleaning equipment
* Experience in a similar five-star/five-diamond resort environment

Under general supervision, break down, clean and sanitize bar outlets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

(The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all inclusive for specific positions.)

1. Clean various bars as assigned or according to rotating schedule.

2. Clean service stations, including drains, counters, dispensing guns, ice bins, boots and speed racks.

3. Replace and stock bag in the box (BIB) as required for beverage operations.

4. Responsible for dispersing glassware to proper bars and outlets.

5. Clean and maintain equipment, including soda nozzles, coffee machine, trash cans, coolers and cabinets.

6. Maintain stockroom cleanliness, including cleaning all shelves.

7. Maintain par levels by using par list and delivering to warehouse.

8. Clean glass washer and drains.

9. Assist in major breakdown and re-assembly of bar's stock and setup.

10. Assist beverage staff with various tasks as needed, and provide bartenders with needed items.

11. Observes Health Department regulations regarding food handling, storage, proper temperature, and cleanliness of work environment.

12. Uses and maintains all assigned areas and equipment in a sanitary, safe and effective manner.

13. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

14. Abide by the Appearance Standard set forth for the department.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Must be able to lift up to 50lb

• Must be able to obtain a valid Missouri Gaming License
