As an Operations Manager, you'll lead daily operations in our lottery fulfillment center, overseeing lottery ticket order processing and facility management to shape the future of Jackpocket, one of our newest and most exciting products. You'll mentor and develop your team, driving performance to meet both individual and center-wide goals while implementing best practices to ensure optimal efficiency. Location: Overview:
The Director of Engineering is responsible for all administrative, financial and operating aspects of the hotel as they directly relate to the engineering division. He/she is responsible for the safe and profitable operation of the hotel.

The Director of Engineering is responsible for all administrative, financial and operating aspects of the hotel as they directly relate to the engineering division. He/she is responsible for the safe and profitable operation of the hotel.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and train all Engineering staff in Customer Service, Empowerment, Standard Operating Procedures and Loss Prevention Standards.
Create, approve and post all Engineering staff schedules according to Highgate Hotel standards.
Create and adhere to annual budget for department.
Develop financial forecasts and actively participate in monthly profit/loss review meetings.
Develop and implement plans to maintain property, equipment, grounds and other assets in an acceptable state of repair.
Ensure the hotel is in compliance with all local, state and federal laws.
Create and implement a preventative maintenance program for all hotel equipment.
Ensure that all emergency and life safety equipment and systems are inspected, tested and certified per Highgate Hotel standards.
Ensure that room maintenance requests are handled in a prompt and courteous manner.
Follow up on all alarms immediately to determine the exact location and cause. Determine emergency status and report findings to Front Desk. Take immediate action as necessary.
Assist as necessary with special projects and renovations.
Actively participate in energy conservation programs.
Review all guest and meeting planner comment cards to ensure problems are identified and corrected in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with the Americans Disabilities Act (ADA).
Administer all vendor contracts controlled by the engineering department.
Support and participate in all Highgate Hotel programs.
Lead and participate in Highgate Hotel Safety Committee.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of progressive facilities management experience in a hotel or a related field; or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related management experience; or a 2-year college degree and 3 or more years of related management experience.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Stationary Engineer's license if required by local code.
HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations and general maintenance skills required.
Long hours sometimes required.
Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and /or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Travel related to company business sometimes required.
Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.

Represent the resort to the guest throughout all stages of the guest's stay.
Work Performed:
Effectively assist all guests
Maintain a high level of customer service while adhering to AAA, Coyle and Resort Standards
Check-in and check-out guests efficiently within AAA & Coyle time standards
Direct all guest requests and issues to the proper departments; follow through to ensure requests and issues are fully resolved
Resolve guest issues and log complaints in Visual One with full details
Report any unusual occurrences or requests to the Front Desk Manager, Director of Rooms or Managing Director
Obtain appropriate credit card signature with full authorization for the guests' stay
Maintain bank, which includes, but is not limited to making change and posting cash payments
Inform guest of debit card policy
Understands and adhere to proper credit, check cashing and accounting policies and procedures
Post additional charges to guest accounts during their stay and after departure
Research as necessary to bill guests correctly (i.e. faxes, tours, laundry, allocations, VIP packages, etc.)
Know room types, locations and rates to up-sell upon arrival
Use suggestive selling techniques to (up) sell rooms and to promote other services at the resort
Work closely with Housekeeping department to ensure availability of rooms
Track and note all early arrivals, late departures, room moves, VIP's and repeat guests, as well as any special requests
Maintain key control and key security for all guests of the resort
Follow procedures for issuing and closing safe deposit boxes used by guests
Ensure that mini bar procedures are followed including key security, final day postings and reconciliation
Use proper mail, package and message handling procedures; log mail as necessary
Read the log book and/or emails daily and complete any requests
Possess knowledge of daily activities, group events, site inspections, emails, etc.
Assist Reservations and Concierge during closure and rush hours
Know all safety and emergency procedures including accident prevention policies and power outage procedures
Assist with phone coverage and answer all calls within three rings and with proper greeting
Communicate professionally when dealing with 911 dispatch and dispatching security to appropriate area
Complete daily call and wake-up call log and follow through as required
Conduct proper room assignment to assure guest satisfaction (upgrades, special requests, special billing, etc.)

What you'll bring

Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau; experience with Python or R is a plus.
Experience designing and analyzing experiments and ability to distill complex data into clear recommendations to inform business strategy.
