Job Description: Reconciliations & Collections Associate
Interior Logic Group in North Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Reconciliation and Collections Associate who has heavy experience in business to business/customer reconciliations and collections, while also having basic accounting knowledge. Although this position will carry additional roles and responsibilities, the primary role will be reconciling and collecting on Customer accounts (National Home Builders). Advanced Excel skills and heavy accounts receivable reconciliation/auditing experience are a must.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Reconciliation and extensive auditing of Accounts Receivables.
* Analyze PO's, Pre-bills, pricing-contracts, and cash-remittances to resolve billing errors and cash-application mistakes on Accounts Receivable aging. Write-up adjustments to clear balances.
* Provide auditable backup to support any adjustments.
* Track status of reconciliation and collections for assigned customer accounts and prepare analysis for weekly corporate A/R reporting.
* Monitor and sign/submit lien-releases regularly to ensure there are no delays in cash-flow.
* Develop working relationship with customer contacts and correspond regularly on status of past-due invoices.
* Assist with month-end close and prepare various extensive excel reports.
* Accounting and clerical duties such as filing, making collections phone calls and sending out past due correspondence.
* Prepare analysis and/or other administrative reports, review outstanding items and exceptions.

- Assist in training for new IHOP restaurant Employees and give refresher training to current IHOP restaurant Employees, when needed. Supervise IHOP restaurant Employees performance and conduct in accordance with Company policies. Observe guest reactions to quality of food and service

Perform administrative procedures such as :
- Cash receipts/store receipts
- Be responsible for register reading and daily sales reports
- Reconcile cash receipts and store bank funds
- Make DAILY deposits and submit deposit slips to the Accounting Office as required by Manager or Assistant Manager
- Ensure that register have sufficient change and bills prior to peak hours of business
- Enforce Company policy regarding check cashing
- Perform other assignments or as needed or which may be assigned by the Unit Manager or Assistant Manager
- This position is located within The Chickasaw Nation's Casinos.
