Caspers company history timeline
Their grandfather, Fritz Casper opened the very first McDonald’s in Tampa on South Dale Mabry in the spring of 1958.
Then by 1975, Dorian became a minor owner at a young age with the passing of his grandmother, Ardam Beklian, who left shares in the company to her daughters and grandchildren.
As the company continued to flourish well into nearly five decades, Caspers Hot Dogs added another major limb to the family business by adding its own sausage manufactory around 1985 under the stewardship of Dorian’s brother, Jack Dorian.

Casper the Friendly Ghost was much more than the 1995 movie starring Bill Pullman and Christina Ricci.
Blake Casper joined the company in 1996 after graduating from the London School of Economics.
In 1998, Blake became operations manager for seven restaurants in St Petersburg.
In 1999, they opened their own first restaurant.
In late 2000, a new chapter opened for Caspers Company when Blake purchased 11 restaurants in Tallahassee.
Following his father's death in 2005, Blake assumed the role of chairman and CEO of Caspers Company.
In 2018, corporate guidelines changed, allowing capable franchisees to operate in other markets and Caspers grew with the purchase of 10 additional McDonald’s locations in Jacksonville, Florida.
If the movie happened in 2021, his dad would probably be a great episode in Ghost Hunters.
