Job Description: As a Sr. Director, supporting Business Development you will be trusted to identify the resources needed to pursue a business opportunity; oversees bid strategies, pricing, teaming, and proposal strategies; and manages the transition from business opportunity to proposal development to award.

Responsibilities:
* Performs opportunity analyses, and interfaces with ACT1 leadership and organizations to ensure timely delivery of winning proposals.
* Develops capture and win strategies including business solution for pursuit.
* Performs market and economic analyses.
* Designs and executes formal capture plans.
* Monitors competitor activity.
* Executes customer call plans to qualify and assess the “win-ability” of new opportunities, and to shape acquisitions.
* Leads and coordinates competitive assessments-determines the strengths and weaknesses of ACT1 team and potential competitors.
* Evaluates potential teammates to ensure complete coverage of all opportunity requirements, and coordinates teaming activities and decisions.
* Identifies resources required to pursue a bid, and guides bid and proposal activities including proposal writing.
* Leads development of customer profiles-including customer needs, issues, hopes, and biases.
* Regularly interacts with all levels of management, infrastructure POCs, staff, and customers.
* Prepares pipeline plans.
* Provides input to Business Unit plans and artifacts.
* Ensures development and production including writing proposals/solutions (technical, management, past performance) that offer competitive distinction and readily executable approaches.
* Prepare and lead Gate Reviews.
* Solicit and glean advanced knowledge of pending needs, current systems, future requirements, and organizations to position ACT1 for pursuit of new contracts and customers.
**Requirements**
* This position requires a bachelor's degree, a master's degree is preferred, along with 8- 10 years of experience preferably with DoD agencies.
* Must have experience in government contracting and professional services.
* Diplomatic, persuasive, and articulate communication style to establish and maintain rapport with internal and external customers / partners. Aptitude for milestone-based capture process.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills are a plus, proactive, superior attention to detail, project management, and organizational skills.

This role drives our digital storytelling, creating news, information and entertainment videos for our audiences on multiple platforms, channels and products, including websites and social media.
They're expected to create compelling, exciting video content based on the most important or interesting topics or events, with a goal to attract, grow and engage digital audiences. They need to be nimble, flexible and fast, and be able to quickly identify, respond to and film the top visual opportunities of the day. Job Description
Photographers are key positions in Cox First Media's drive to be the digital news and information leader in our market. This role drives our digital storytelling, creating photos and video for our audiences on multiple platforms, channels and products, including websites and social media.
They are expected to document what's happening in our community with versatility, and should be able to cover a variety of events, including breaking news, sports, features, and entertainment. They need to be nimble, flexible and fast, and be able to quickly identify, respond to and photograph breaking news or other key visual opportunities. This role should be able to work independently in news situations, and collaboratively with other staff.
As part of their job, news photographers must have strong news judgment and journalistic principles. They must write accurate, clear and relevant photo captions, and may also write or contribute to news stories. Accuracy and meeting deadline are critical.
The position is based in Dayton, Ohio. The Dayton Daily News has a hybrid work environment but this person will be expected to be in the office regularly. The Assistant News Editor is key in driving our coverage around topics of priority and audience interest, helping to oversee the editorial operations of news teams.
