Essential Duties & Responsibilities Interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings to determine machining requirements. Perform set-ups on CNC lathes, mills, and other machining centers. Monitor machine operations, perform quality checks, and make necessary adjustments to maintain tolerances. Troubleshoot and resolve machining or tooling issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with company safety and 5S standards. Complete production documentation accurately and timely. Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and supervisors to improve processes. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred. 2-3+ years CNC machine operation experience, with proven set-up skills required. Strong knowledge of tooling, fixturing, and machining principles. Experience with vertical and/or horizontal CNC machines preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, G & M codes, and precision measuring tools. Good problem-solving, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail. This role requires both hands-on operation and programming of CMMs to inspect precision-cast and machined components. Key Responsibilities: Program and operate CMM equipment to inspect cast and machined components made from non-ferrous metals (e.g., aluminum, brass, bronze). Develop, test, and validate CMM programs using part drawings and CAD models in software such as PC-DMIS. Perform First Article Inspections (FAI), in-process checks, and final dimensional verifications.
