It is imperative they be capable of developing, designing and implementing new metrics and reports for production and process control. Computer skills, especially with Excel, are necessary.
They must have excellent communication skills both with their employees and with the corporate management. In addition, they should understand all aspects of environmental testing, permitting, and reporting as well as OSHA requirements.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
Trains and manages hourly production employees on the assigned shift and process area.
Oversees the daily workflow and assignments of direct reports.
Provides engagement and performance evaluation for direct reports.
