Jennifer has a history of excellence in healthcare delivery, and a proven record of success. During the last decade, Jennifer has actively been creating positive change in mental health on a national scale. She is driven to improve the standard of care in mental health and eating disorder treatment through impeccable clinical quality, accountability, and innovative care delivery models. Jennifer holds an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business and earned her undergraduate degree in liberal arts from Colorado College. She lives with her husband and three children, and enjoys running marathons, reading and being outdoors. Jennifer is also an ardent supporter of “Lead like a Chiq,” a movement she founded that promotes the power of authentically female leadership.

Bart joined the Alsana team with over 20 years’ experience helping companies achieve their goals as a key senior level executive. He is known for using his entrepreneurial vision to drive operational and financial excellence. With extensive experience in strategic planning and human resource development, Bart has helped myriad companies meet their corporate objectives. He is able to provide companies with clear and concise direction through his ability to develop sophisticated financial models. Prior to coming to Alsana, Bart operated as the chief operating officer and chief financial officer for Blue Microphones, a consumer electronics company. He managed all aspects of the high growth company, which has been nominated to Inc. 5,000 fastest growing companies for eight consecutive years. Bart has an extensive background in healthcare through his tenure at Pathway Diagnostics. He has also been part of the executive team of a dental management company supporting growth through acquisitions. He has established himself as a thought leader in the field of executive and financial expertise and has consulted with various businesses regarding strategy, growth, and operations. Bart has served as a director on several boards during his career and enjoys being a guest speaker at various finance-related venues.

As Chief Medical Director at Alsana, Margherita Mascolo, leads the medical component of Alsana’s Adaptive Care Model™. Margherita brings over 10 years of hands-on experience and extensive knowledge in the treatment of eating disorders. Prior to joining Alsana, Margherita served as the Medical Director at ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders at Denver Health. She also works closely with Alsana’s Chief Psychiatric Officer Terry Eagan, and Chief Nursing Officer, Lyn Goldring on the development and implementation of our medical care. After completing her undergraduate work at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, Margherita earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center. Her residency was completed in Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado in Denver. Margherita is board certified in Internal Medicine, has published multiple peer reviewed articles on the medical complications of eating disorders, travels nationally and internationally to speak on these complications, and has earned her certified eating disorder specialist certification.

Terry Eagan is a renowned psychiatrist, former Senior Fellow of The Meadows, and founder and CEO of Eagan Medical Group, LLC. As the Chief Psychiatric Officer, he works with the Alsana team to further develop the company’s industry-leading care model. Terry’s range of specialties includes primary psychiatric conditions, eating disorders, substance-abuse disorders, impulse control disorders, trauma and abuse, human sexuality and spiritual therapy. Terry’s treatment approach incorporates pharmacologic interventions with evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapies, adjunctive modalities, and traditional spiritual practices. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, the Medical Board of California as a physician and surgeon, and he is a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners.
