- Our CAT Rental technicians are responsible for diagnosing and repairing Caterpillar, Allied and Genie or aerial equipment including removing, repairing, assembling and installing.
- Able to diagnose and troubleshoot engines, powertrains, electrical and hydraulic systems, experience with CAT diagnostic equipment, CAT repair tooling, rigging and blocking equipment is essential.
- Due to the multiple projects you will be assigned, this position requires planning and organizing skills with a particular emphasis on controlling job costs.
- You will need to investigate, analyze and identify the problem in order to make recommendations that eliminates the issue.

Qualifications & Experience Needed:

Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs CT studies/ procedures for patients of all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric) utilizing ionizing radiation and treatment of disease. Functions under the general supervision of the CT supervisor and in cooperation with the radiologists. This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.
DUTIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
1.
Performs diagnostic, interventional, and/or therapeutic procedures for patients of all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric) in a manner that ensures an accurate and complete examination/treatment by complying with established policies and procedures.
2.
Organizes and documents all aspects of assigned patient care in coordination with radiologists, nursing personnel, and other areas of department to ensure accurate and timely performance of radiology procedures.
3.
Participates in performance improvement activities by participating in the collection of data for performance improvement activities to ensure quality is consistent with established standards.
4.
Assumes responsibility for professional growth and development by participating in educational activities to promote continuous improvement and compliance with patient care standards.
5.
Responsible to assist in the training of new CT employees.
6.
Trains students as applicable.
SUPERVISION:
Reports to the director or CT coordinator as applicable.

Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Associate degree in Radiography from an accredited college CT School/Certificate Preferred
Experience:
2 years as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist Preferred CT Experience Preferred
Certification and Licensure:
TMB State License ARRT Registered Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire date
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift, push and/or pull heavy objects and to constantly walk, stand, bend, reach for and/or stoop. Ability to perform a full range of body motions including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye/hand coordination. Ability to see and hear to normal range with correction. Ability to wear lead protective devices for extended periods of time. Ability to work under stressful conditions and to work irregular hours.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
Exposure to infectious disease on a constant basis. Exposure to ionizing radiation on a frequent basis. Exposure to unpleasant working conditions or undesirable elements, some of which are potentially hazardous or harmful, and which may require exercise of well defined precautions for protection from injury or illness.
