Responsibilities Efficiently and accurately close the books for the Domestic entities including preparation of journal entries and supporting schedules. Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Workday Business Assets and support for Capital Projects. Work with FP&A over capital process and tracking for projects. Prepare variance analysis for monthly trial balance review meetings and actual vs. forecast meetings. Prepare and deliver the monthly financial reporting package for the company's Costa Rica operations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data. Partner with International Accounting team to ensure accuracy of intercompany transactions and invoicing. Critically review current accounting and reporting processes to identify ways to create additional efficiencies and automate. Develop and maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of company accounting policies, financial systems, transaction processes, internal controls and chart of accounts. Research technical accounting topics and document/report conclusion to individuals within the organization. Maintain data integrity in the financial systems to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Maintain and ensure ongoing compliance with accounting policies and procedures and SOX internal control documentation. Participate in process automation initiatives by identifying opportunities where AI or RPA can streamline accounting workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional AI teams to test and provide feedback on AI-powered financial tools or dashboards. Support change management efforts related to technology adoption and process redesign. Perform ad hoc analysis or special projects. Qualifications 1 - 3 years of Corporate Accounting experience required. BS or BA degree in Accounting or Finance. Solid understanding of US GAAP required Strong IT skills and exposure to ERP systems required, with interest or experience with AI-driven tools, automations, or data analytic platforms.
