Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.)

Be the Pharmacy Director You've Always Strived to Be
Convey the mission of the hospital and organization to pharmacy staff, holding them accountable for performance, while motivating them to enhance and develop their capabilities.

The Physician Assistant will assist with seeing patients in the clinic in partnership with supervising physician, assist with patient rounding in the hospital, and in the operating room. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of health care professionals to conduct diagnostic evaluations and prescribe appropriate treatments based on evidence-based research within the scope of standards of practice for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care as a Nurse Practitioner in the office, or other locations within the community as assigned. Conduct diagnostic evaluations and prescribe appropriate treatments based on evidence-based research within the scope of standards of practice for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses.
Monitor and manage patient health and medical conditions, and provide education on preventive health care.
Participate in programs or task forces to meet the medical needs of CFHC patients. Chair or attend meetings as assigned.
Participate in the Quality Improvement and Peer Review programs.
Manage the care of patients in collaboration with other clinical staff and members of the care team in order to make medical decisions on treatment and attain health goals.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm includes one extended shift per week (Noon - 8:00pm) with a Saturday Rotation 8:00am - 1:00pm

Requirements
Education and Experience
M.S. degree from accredited nursing school, nurse practitioner track. New Grads are welcome!
Certified or eligible for certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse by a national certifying body as approved by the Illinois Department of Regulation APN Board, in Family Practice, Pediatrics, Adult, Geriatric, Obstetrics/Gynecology or another approved specialty.
Current and valid Illinois license as an Advance Practice Nurse. Fully Practice Authority is a plus.
Valid CPR certification required
Bilingual ability may or may not be required based on individual department needs
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
Ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with patients and other members of the care team.
Comfort working in a medical setting as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Strong communication and business acumen.
