The Senior Educational Design Specialist is a professional with knowledge of and experience with learning and organizational development (LOD) principles, practices, concepts, and theories. Responsible for delivering educational programs which increase skills, knowledge and behaviors across our team and membership. The position will work with leaders and subject-matter experts to understand technical and non-technical program requirements to meet organizational goals. This position evaluates curriculum and content as well as defines appropriate delivery type to achieve stated objectives. This role will have primary responsibility for maintaining configuring, organizing, and troubleshooting the Learning Management System as it relates to learning objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Senior Educational Design Specialist will be responsible for the following:
Leading the production of course materials including student and instructor guides
Executing effective course design within the Learning Management Systems and related systems, as required
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to review, develop or source content to meet member training needs
Driving continuous improvement of course processes and training experiences
Working across the organization to support internal training needs and planning
Implementing and managing a train-the-trainer program for ElectriCities member programs
Serving as project coordinator for new training development
Establishing a network of contractors and industry partners to assist in educational program goals including technical writers for course development.
Supporting ad hoc training needs and other duties as assigned
Maintaining current knowledge of industry trends and talent management practices; make recommendations to improve current programs and processes

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration; Learning and Performance; Education; Human Resources; Organizational Design or Related field; or relevant work experience.
Five or more years of technical training experience and/or instructional design experience.
Prior work experience using moderately complex to complex instructional design tools such as Learning Management Systems, video editing software, storyline and coding platforms.
Ability to apply strong working knowledge of modern curriculum development methodologies and adult learning theories to curriculum design and development.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-functional team with highly technical content.
Creative problem-solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication, and strong interpersonal and operational skills. This includes skill in collaborating with subject matter experts and managers to help write, design, develop projects.

Summary
The Wastewater Project Engineer is responsible for performing professional work in the planning, design, and construction of WSACC water distribution/treatment and wastewater transmission/treatment facilities. This role manages project activities for major expense and capital improvement projects, works closely with staff and local government officials from jurisdictions/entities serviced by WSACC, and coordinates with regulatory agencies at the local, state, and federal levels. The position is supervised by the Engineering Director and requires a high degree of independent project management and technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and oversee the construction of water and wastewater distribution and treatment facilities.
Manage project activities for major capital improvement projects.
Coordinate with local government officials, consultants, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
Review engineering plans, prepare project specifications, and manage construction administration.
Prepare cost estimates and specifications for projects.
Supervise and plan the work of other employees on assigned projects.
Perform related work as needed or assigned.
Competencies & Experience:
Comprehensive knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and contract management.
Thorough understanding of processes required for implementing new data into the Flow Acceptance System.
In-depth knowledge of equipment and materials used in the construction of water and wastewater systems.
Considerable knowledge of engineering principles related to water and wastewater collection and treatment.
General knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations relating to utility system operations.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to present ideas and technical information.
Project management skills, including the ability to plan and execute projects independently, and to prepare cost estimates and specifications.
Supervisory ability to oversee the work of other employees and coordinate with various stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with consultants, engineers, regulatory agency representatives, associates, and the public.
Education
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
Moderate experience in water/wastewater engineering project design, engineering plan review, construction administration, project coordination, bid coordination, and contract administration.
An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
Licenses/Certifications:
NC Engineering Intern (EI) license required, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is desirable.

Oiles America is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This position is open to both experienced maintenance technicians and engineers with hands-on automation experience. In this role, you'll support production by keeping automated systems running smoothly, solving electrical and mechanical issues, and driving equipment and process improvements alongside maintenance and engineering teams. What You'll Do:
Provide daily technical support for automated equipment and manufacturing systems.
Identify and reduce production bottlenecks and waste.
Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, and control systems to resolve downtime issues quickly and effectively.
Partner with maintenance and production to improve equipment reliability and safety.
Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement countermeasures.
Recommend and implement automation and process improvements that enhance efficiency and quality.
Support new product introductions, including PFMEAs, APQP documentation, and BOM setup.
Design and implement tooling and process solutions using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (relative experience may be considered in lieu of education).
Hands-on experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment.
Strong background in PLC troubleshooting, electrical controls, and mechanical systems.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
