Pay rate for the Catering Supervisor position is $20 / hour.

Full-Time positions are offered a comprehensive benefits package including:

Responsibilities
  • Train and supervise catering associates and observe job performance.
  • Ensure catering associates properly prepare catered events for guests; conduct walk-throughs to check for any issues.
  • Ensure all food presentations and displays meet company standards.
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service and reports any violations.
  • Answer guest questions regarding food preparation or ingredients, service, or billing.
  • Resolve guest complaints, with the assistance of the department manager.
  • Ensure that all workstations, pantries, and storerooms remain clean and sufficiently stocked; ensures replacement stock is ordered.
  • Ensure all sanitation practices are used and Department of Health guidelines are followed.
Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years old and have a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of service experience in a hotel, full-service restaurant, catering facility, or club environment required.
  • Excellent guest service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and able to follow job procedures and manager instructions.
  • Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and courteously in a high-pressure environment.

Banquet/Catering Supervisor

Reporting directly to the Catering Manager, the Catering Supervisor position is responsible to oversee the set-up and breakdown for assigned catered events and to supervisor the assigned staff to ensure they are following all process and procedures and are meeting the service expectations of the client and their guests.

Primary Responsibilities

+ Responsible for the operation of their assigned event or area on game day.

+ Deliver pre-shift meeting, communicating event details from the BEO.

+ Supervise catering team during the set-up and breakdown of the event, assigning tasks to staff.

+ Ensure that assigned team is following all process and procedures and that Legends Service Standards are being met

+ Ensure that all equipment and back up product is stocked prior to event start time

+ Responsible for tracking temperature logs for hot boxes and coolers and walk-in coolers at the start, during and at the end of every event.

+ Ensure Krewe Members are continually replenishing buffet lines, and beverages during the entire event.

+ Responsible for documenting starting and ending inventory and ensuring that bartenders are following the proper procedures to count inventory.

+ Ensure that Krewe Members are using the proper equipment needed for break down (gloves, proper sanitation product to wipe down equipment and area).

+ Submit event documentation at the end of the event to the Catering Manager

+ Adhere to the Legends Uniform and Grooming guidelines and ensure Krewe Members are doing the same.

+ Other duties as assigned
