We are currently seeking a **Technical Support Manager** to join our Command for Hauling Service Engineering team within the Cat Technology Autonomy and Automation division. As a Technical Support Manager, you have accountability for building and maintaining critical Product Support processes and collaboration with our process partners, go to market teams, dealers, and customers globally. Your team has a significant impact on the agility and productivity of a Service Engineering team that provides 24/7 support to a global fleet of autonomous trucks.

**What You'll Do** :
+ Lead, and thoughtfully grow, a uniquely capable team that can fulfill a wide range of responsibilities in support of our internal and external customers
+ Build strong working relationships with internal teams and dealers to ensure their success.
+ Participate in regular technical meetings with Dealers, Parts and Supply Chain, Engineering and Component Suppliers on key technology parts and components
+ Manage product specific Warranty and Goodwill claims globally
+ Develop and manage Technology Service Publications and Technical Literature to support the autonomous truck fleets
+ Collaborate with the global Service Engineering teams and other MineStar Product Support Managers to document problem analysis, communicate corrective actions, and escalate priorities to key stakeholders on MineStar Software and Hardware issues.
+ Create and report product improvement ideas including functional enhancements and supportability improvements.
+ Assist your team in the management of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, Field Inspections and Campaigns and New Build technical assistance.
+ Support MineStar Product Field Follow Testing and Validation programs globally.
+ Engage with the team on Product related Incident Investigations as required.
+ Generate system reports tracking components, parts and warranty performance and insights.

This pivotal role is part of a team leading a strategic Enterprise Manufacturing & Assembly Transformation initiative, focused on
1) Contemporizing current business processes with a sustainable digital solution through connected ERP, PLM and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
2) Partner with stakeholders and our Digital Technology (DT) organization to manage process change, digital transformation.
The role will engage with our supply chain users across part families, shop operations, materials, quality, finance and partner with DT as well as other strategic transformation pillars.
High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Define manufacturing & assembly business processes including specific processes with information flow between MES and ERP/PLM.
* Define relevant shop floor operations requirements, Value stream and Process mapping to clarify operational processes to relevant stakeholders.
* Document user requirements, coordinate creation of acceptance criteria for business needs, verify prioritization and coverage of requirements in product roadmap.
* Develop and document standard work by collaborating with cross functional teams and systems integrators, and drive continuous improvement of standard work as applicable for functional area to incorporate learnings.
* Project/Program manage digital transformation projects across stakeholders including shop floor users & business solution implementation teams (internal and external).
* Collaborate across Edison Works enterprise business system architecture implementations to ensure successful implementation of DT solutions.
* Partner with other GE Aerospace partners, to define current state requirements and constraints, and help define manufacturing operations strategy and leverage industry best practices.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
* A minimum of 5 years of engine assembly, component manufacturing, aviation quality shop floor management/process improvement experience in the Aerospace/Manufacturing industry OR relevant experience in Supply Chain software solution deployment.
* As this role requires a US Government Secret-level clearance, the successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a clearance.

+ Develop and maintain MATLAB/Simulink real-time models for machine dynamics, including actuator/ECM I/O behaviors, to enable closed-loop validation, fault injection, and regression testing on HIL benches.
+ Configure, operate, and troubleshoot dSPACE SCALEXIO benches using ConfigurationDesk, and ControlDesk, including deployment, parameter/variant management, automated test execution, and bench bring-up activities supporting Autonomous system integration.
+ Design, build, and validate wiring harnesses and interconnects; document and communicate end-to-end electrical interfaces between multiple ECMs supporting machine and technology integration, including power distribution, grounding/shielding, and subsystem-to-subsystem connectivity.
+ Apply electrical engineering fundamentals to verify harness integrity and bench interface circuitry (power/protection, isolation, filtering, shielding, signal integrity) for reliable integrated HIL operation across multiple controllers, components, actuator loads and signal types.
+ **I** ntegrate and validate communications across CAN/J1939 plus Ethernet/TCP-IP within an integrated architecture, including troubleshooting of bandwidth, timing, and interoperability issues affecting autonomy functions and data transport where applicable.
+ Integrate and validate workflows that interface with back office (client/server connectivity, site configuration, and operational readiness) to support end-to-end autonomy validation scenarios on HIL benches and test environments.
+ Integrate and validate sensor simulation for autonomous machines-LiDAR point clouds, Radar detections/tracks, and Camera, GPS, IMU-ensuring correct interfaces, timing/synchronization, calibration alignment, and controllable fault modes (dropouts, noise, occlusions, latency) to exercise perception and system behaviors in HIL.

**Summary Pay Range:**
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00

**Supply Chain Operations Internship:** In this role you will be responsible for key elements involved in supply chain related daily operations. The MRO Powerplant Engineer reports to the GE Lafayette Plant Leader and works in a self-directed teaming structure. This role is responsible for providing technical support within the shop with relation to CFM LEAP engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul.

+ Review of engine disassembly and engine hardware and timely reporting of condition
+ Raising Departure Record (DR) cases, tracking and actioning in ERP system (OASIS)
+ Work with technicians to troubleshoot technical issues that arise within the shop
+ Shop Instruction creation / maintenance and review
+ Support engineering leader and collaborate with LEAP PSE (Product Support Engineering)/ CTP (Customer Technical Program) on Fleet issues
+ Interpretation and translation of customer maintenance documents into Lafayette specific internal documents to ensure compliance with customer requirements
+ Work with internal and external departments and vendors on any technical issues as required to support business needs
+ Day to day communications, e.g. Specific engine issues, conditions and investigations
+ Support and coach self-directed teams to achieve program/business objectives
