Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is currently seeking a Part Time Licensed Mental Health Clinician - LCSW for our St. Bridget's Residence in Newark, NJ. (23 hours per week - see schedule below).
Tues & Wed: 12pm-8pm
Fri: 12pm-7pm
St. Bridget's is a transitional and emergency shelter residence that provides housing and supportive services to homeless men living with HIV/AIDS. Based on individual needs, clients can access:
Educational workshops on nutrition, health, stress reduction and other life skills areas;
Referral to mental health and/or substance abuse counseling;
Case management services;
Advocacy services; and
Recreational activities.
Schedule for the Licensed Clinician - LCSW:
Clinician will be working 23 hours per week:
Monday and Tuesday: 11AM - 7PM
Thursday: 11AM - 6PM
Job Description for the Licensed Clinician - LCSW:
The Clinician is responsible for providing individual and group counseling to assess clients' needs
Collaborate with clinical team and treatment providers to provide a continuity of care
Conduct psychosocial assessments and make necessary mental health referrals
Provide mental health follow-up during hospitalizations and times of decompensations
Provide crisis counseling and documentation of services via progress note in a timely manner
Ensure contractual funder requirements such as completing data entry via CHAMP/HMIS
Facilitate groups to increase clients' knowledge and provide pertinent information.
Job Requirements for the Licensed Clinician - LCSW:
Master's degree in behavioral health related field
Valid LCSW
2-3 years of behavioral health related experience

Position Overview
The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Mental Health Technician Trainee at the Shapiro Center located in Kankakee, Illinois. The incumbent will, for a period of time from six and not to exceed twelve months, receives training and instruction and performs entry level, routine personal care services, educational, social, vocational and therapeutic activities in the treatment and habilitation of intellectually disabled individuals at Shapiro Center. Essential Functions

Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly unit by performing general housekeeping tasks, such as spot mopping, cleaning spills, wiping tables and making of beds and lifting up 50 pounds.

Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of high school.

The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Mental Health Technician Trainee for the Ludeman Developmental Center located in Park Forest, Illinois for a period of time from six and not to exceed twelve months, receive instruction and training in caring for individuals with developmental disabilities. Completes classroom and on-the-job training. Performs beginning level direct care functions in the care and habilitation of individuals with developmental disabilities, on assigned unit under supervision during trainee period.
Essential Functions
* For a period of time from six (6) and not to exceed twelve (12) months, receives instruction and training in caring for individuals with developmental disabilities.
* Completes on the job training assignments totaling a minimum of 120 hours in formal classroom training and a minimum of 400 hours in on-the-job training.
* Supervises and escorts individuals during activities including self-help activities such as toileting, bathing, dressing, eating and laundry, education or medical/nursing events and appointments on and off campus.
* Performs basic housekeeping assignments. Including mopping, cleaning tables, removing trash, lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted, etc., to maintain a clean, safe and home-like environment of assigned residential area including set up and serving of meals.
* Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Position Overview
The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Mental Health Technician Trainee for the Ludeman Developmental Center located in Park Forest, Illinois for a period of time from six and not to exceed twelve months, receive instruction and training in caring for individuals with developmental disabilities. Completes classroom and on-the-job training. Performs beginning level direct care functions in the care and habilitation of individuals with developmental disabilities, on assigned unit under supervision during trainee period.
Essential Functions
For a period of time from six (6) and not to exceed twelve (12) months, receives instruction and training in caring for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Completes on the job training assignments totaling a minimum of 120 hours in formal classroom training and a minimum of 400 hours in on-the-job training.
Supervises and escorts individuals during activities including self-help activities such as toileting, bathing, dressing, eating and laundry, education or medical/nursing events and appointments on and off campus.
Performs basic housekeeping assignments. Including mopping, cleaning tables, removing trash, lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted, etc., to maintain a clean, safe and home-like environment of assigned residential area including set up and serving of meals.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of high school.

Position Overview
The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Mental Health Technician Trainee at the Kiley Developmental Center located in Waukegan, Illinois. The incumbent will, for a period of time from six (6) and not to exceed twelve (12) months, receive instruction and training in providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities. Attends formal classes for instruction in routine nursing practices and techniques, behavior intervention skill development and to gain elementary understanding of the causes, nature and treatment of intellectual disabilities. Performs routine tasks in providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities, including conducting activities and programs, documenting data regarding the individual's response to care and programs and escorting individuals to participate in the receipt of community services. Travels in performance of job duties.

Duties and Responsibilities: * Provides mental health services primarily to clients. * Conducts individual and group psychotherapy with victims of child sexual abuse, non-offending caregivers of sexual abuse victims, and siblings of sexual abuse victims.
* Conducts psychological evaluations of children and adults.
* Provides supervision to psychology interns and students.
* Conducts trainings pertinent to child development, child sexual abuse, youth with problematic sexual behaviors, and cultural diversity issues.
* Serves as a consultant to CAC staff and CAC partner agencies regarding the role of psychology and the dynamics of child sexual abuse.
* Works with an interdisciplinary team to provide effective services to youth, including child welfare, law enforcement, medical personnel, and the District Attorney's office.
* Conducts Crisis Interventions, including Suicide Assessments and Homicide Assessments
* Adheres to APA Ethical Guidelines in performing all job duties.
* May provide expert court testimony in criminal and civil child abuse proceedings.

Requirements
Education:
