This assignment will allow the potential CNA trainee to get a glimpse of the CNA experience from a non-direct care perspective; through observation and direct participation. Job Description Make resident beds Transport residents to activities and meals Answer call bells Answer unit phone Check and stock supplies Collect plates and cups after dining Put away laundry/Labeling clothes for laundry Check resident rooms for amenities Alert nursing staff of resident needs as necessary Perform Enhanced Observation of a resident/patient as assigned, to ensure safety, comfort and companionship. Documents resident/patient behaviors, activities hourly in Behavior Book when assigned as to Enhanced Observation. Other duties as assigned Grounds monitor of the residents Qualifications A Nurse Aide Assistant doesn't require a GED/High school diploma but to enter into our Nurse Aide Training Class you do need to either one.
