We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Operations Manager to lead the production operations of a manufacturing facility focused on generator enclosures, encompassing metal fabrication, welding, industrial painting, and final assembly. Operational Leadership
Oversee daily plant operations across all departments: fabrication, welding, painting, and final assembly.
Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met or exceeded.
Monitor workflow and production schedules to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Coordinate with planning and procurement to ensure material availability and inventory control.
Team Management
Lead, coach, and develop a cross-functional team including supervisors, welders, fabricators, painters, assemblers and support staff.
Establish clear performance expectations and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Ensure workforce training and cross-training to maintain operational flexibility.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Partner with Quality and Engineering teams to maintain high-quality standards through all phases of production.
Enforce compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory requirements
Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to address quality and process issues.
Process Improvement
Identify and implement opportunities for streamlining and process optimization.
Lead or support initiatives to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance safety.
Support or lead CAPEX projects related to equipment upgrades or layout improvements.
Health & Safety
Champion a safe working environment through effective safety programs and continuous education.
Ensure regular safety audits, training, and compliance with site safety procedures and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
(MBA or related master's degree is a plus.)
7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, with hands-on knowledge of metal fabrication, welding, industrial painting and mechanical assembly.
Proven ability to lead teams in a make-to-order or engineer-to-order environment.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience working with ERP systems for job cost based production
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with welding certifications, paint/coating standards and assembly best practices.
Experience in fabrication of custom or heavy-duty enclosures for power generation or industrial equipment.

Maintains building by providing housekeeping services and sanitary maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
Essential Job Results
Maintains building interior by dusting and polishing furniture, equipment, mirrors, and fixtures; washing windows, counters, walls, ceilings, and woodwork; sweeping, scrubbing, and waxing floors; cleaning overhead piping and all bakery equipment; replenishing restrooms; and bagging scrap materials for pick-up.
Safely maintains sanitary equipment by using necessary lockout/tagout procedures before cleaning; following manufacturer's instructions when taking the machines apart; cleaning with air hose or other tools; putting machine back together correctly; and removing safety lock.
Removes trash by emptying trash containers; transporting materials to disposal area; and recycling materials.
Maintains sanitary production environment by washing utensils, scoops, pails; cleaning production tables; dusting conveyers; pressure spraying mixing bowls, ladders, small machines, and rugs.

Work with wood, metal, and concrete materials using a variety of hand and power tools, the Field Laborer reports directly to the Field Foreman and Field Superintendent. Employee will also Operate lifts and learn to weld, grout and patch.

Follows all DOT guidelines when operating full-size commercial van/Promaster, and safely transports staff, supplies, and equipment.
Travels to other local collection sites, as determined by business need.
Prepares collection site and performs set up, including technology systems (may include quality control).
Performs donor screening (collects donor histories), mini-physical, and phlebotomy.
Observes donors for reactions, provides reaction care and assists other staff in handling reactions if needed. Conducts automation (Alyx and/or Trima), including recognizing and responding to automation reactions. Recruits and converts donors for automation.

Recognizes when the customer is distressed and responds appropriately with tact. Creates a safe environment for donors and staff members.

ABOUT THE JOB:
The Residential Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of their specific, residential locations during an assigned and set period of time (shift) while working alongside the team. They are responsible for ensuring all operations within their specific locations run smoothly and efficiently while also providing guidance, support, and supervision to staff. The Shift Supervisor will provide mentorship to DSP (Direct Support Professional) staff as well as training, and skills assessments ensuring the highest level of quality care and support is provided. They are expected to model the Vista Care Values and ensure staff adhere to workplace protocols and procedures. Fosters a safe and supportive workplace environment for employees and individuals alike.
RESPONSIBLE TO:
The Residential Shift Supervisor reports to the Residential Manager.
Responsibilities:
Provides operational oversight and supervision for assigned residential locations during scheduled shifts and is responsible for all administrative and program duties under the direction of the Residential Manager.
Maintains, adheres to, and communicates company policies and procedures.
Develops and maintains an effective communication relationship with staff members and is responsible for communication to staff regarding changes impacting the individuals supported, company communications, and other relevant information obtained through leadership, emails, etc.
Reviews DSP attendance and responsible for the tracking of DSP attendance in accordance with established attendance policy guidelines.
Reviews and tracks medications errors in partnership with the quality team and participates in quality improvement initiatives as needed.
Ensures adherence to driving policy and procedures and works in partnership with the Residential Manager to monitor company vehicle maintenance and operation.
Provides corrective action, coaching, and mentorship to staff as needed in partnership with the Residential Manager and HR team.
May assist the nursing team with the distribution of medications to homes and other medication related activities.
Collaborates and partners with the scheduling team on staffing plans and needs for assigned residences.
Ensure staff adherence to Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs), meeting medical, physical, psychological, and social needs and collaborates with the Residential Manager to develop and review ISPs/BSPs.
Provides crisis behavioral intervention and debriefing support to DSP's following a crisis.
Be knowledgeable of prevention of abuse, neglect, and misappropriation of property, and self-abuse. Understands how to respond per company policies and procedures and mandatory reporting laws.
Reviews the availability of on-site supplies and coordinates with Residential Manager on needs. Additionally maintains accurate financial records for the appropriate supplies, groceries, and household item needs in compliance with Vista Care policies.
May provide direct care and support to individuals as needed.
Conducts monthly program inspections and audits.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
One year + experience as a caregiver or direct support professional preferred.
Previous experience in residential services, support with individuals with disabilities, customer service, and/or human services fields preferred.
One year + experience as a direct supervisor or manager of others preferred.
Ability to supervise and manage others while ensuring the best possible care and support is provided to individuals.
Maintains a high degree of professionalism, including maintaining professional boundaries and adherence to confidentiality.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Successful completion of a caregiver background check required.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
College or university degree preferred.
CPR certification preferred.
Ability to successfully complete all applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
AFH/CBRF certification preferred (WI ONLY).

Starting at $18.00 on weekdays
Starting at $27.00 on Weekends! (Time and a half of weekday hourly rate.)

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Ability to lift at least fifty (50) pounds on a routine basis to assist with individuals supported.
Ability to bend, twist, lift, reach and assist individuals supported with their movements including their ability to stand up.
Variable weekly hours to support operational needs including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts may be up to 12 hours in length and may be flex between AM or PM rotations based on business needs.
Required to work in residential settings.

Duties include…
Receive specimens into lab.
Release orders in LIS.
Prepare 70% and 80% ROH solutions following proper procedure.
Recycle of ROH and Xylene.
Change solutions on H&E stainer daily.
Prepare specimens and blocks for grossing.
Perform tissue embedding upon completion of in-house training and competency assessment.
Prepare blocks for techs after embedding, including but not limited to, cleaning and organizing blocks prior to tech microtome cutting.
Assist with H&E slide preparation, including loading and unloading of slides into/from auto-stainer, and operating cover slipper.
Prepare slide trays and requisitions prior to delivery to pathologists.
Daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning of lab equipment and tools per schedule.
Dump formalin vials and neutralize formalin following proper procedure.
Record daily lab temperatures as listed on QC sheets.
Receiving and stocking of general lab supplies. Perform monthly inventory as assigned.
Record orders on work lists and pull blocks for techs.
Slide, block, and requisition filing.
Adherence to compliance and completion of compliance training.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
