    Job Description Stockers are to receive, price, sensor (if applicable) and inspect freight. Stockers must be proficient in all aspects of the Cavender's Boot City stocking system, and knowledgeable of all paperwork associated with each stocking function. Stockers must prioritize merchandise by order of importance (i.e., empty wrangler shelves should be restocked after empty polish racks are restocked). Stockers are also responsible for keeping the store neat and clean inside and outside. Specifically includes calculating M adjustments, preparing provision and audit schedules, and maintaining the tax fixed asset ledger. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: * Prepare/assist with the Company's quarterly and annual global income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740, including book/tax differences, reconciliations, audit schedules, forecasting, and planning models. * Manage tax fixed assets in BNA software. Process monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset reports and reconciliations. * Assist in the preparation of the consolidated US federal income tax return and federal pro forma returns. * Research, analysis, and interpretation of existing and proposed or enacted legislation with respect to federal, state, and local tax law. This includes applying research and analysis to implement tax initiatives and projects. * Assist with tax automation initiatives and ongoing process improvement initiatives. * Perform ad hoc projects as needed.
