Surgical Support: Assists with patient positioning, surgical hand scrubs, counts, and Time Out procedures. Safety and Infection Control: Identifies and addresses safety hazards, follows universal precautions, and infection control protocols. Accountability and Flexibility: Organizes tasks to meet patient and unit needs, adapts to changes, and stays current with education and policies. Required Skills and Experience: NBSTSA or NCCT certification OR Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology program, and eligible for certification within 12 months Physical Requirements: Frequent hand and finger use (e.g., to operate a computer keyboard).
