#LI-OD1 #LI-Hybrid * Primary contact for a specified block of business and is responsible for the overall client satisfaction on the assigned business * Perform all required Compliance Testing and related items * Reconciles assets, prepares Form 5500 and all schedules
* Preparation of necessary allocations for Employer contributions and calculations such as required minimum distributions and Qualified Domestic Relations Orders
* Effectively uses available resources to resolve a variety of issues with clients, including inquiries on compliance, tax reporting (5500, 5330), audits, re-pricing of contracts, and IRS guidelines
* Respond to Plan sponsors in a professional and timely manner concerning issues or questions
* Promote client retention and identify opportunities to build existing relationships through timely service quality
* Provide value add solutions to increase operational efficiencies
* Collaborate with internal partners in the delivery of timely and accurate information in response to inquiries and/or service issues
* Resolve complex situations or requests
* Attend client meetings and prepares materials for meetings
* Achieve service goals established by department
* Additional responsibilities as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree
* Familiarity with FT William software used for 5500 and compliance
Minimum Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED
* At least five years of professional, retirement plan administration, and compliance experience
* Possesses advanced knowledge and understanding of industry and professional concepts, principles, practices, and procedures
* Possesses expert knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, and professional standards
* Expert use of applicable technology
* Proficient use of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and enterprise communication and travel solutions (Concur, Skype)
* Experience performing work that requires initiative and leadership skills
* Experience in coaching and teaching others
* Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), Qualified 401(K) Administrator (QKA)
* Ability to anticipate and elicit customer needs
* Ability to self-learn and develop business and technical knowledge quickly
* Motivated team player with demonstrated interpersonal skills

Job Responsibilities
Drive the go-to-market approach for Adaptive Planning under the guidance of the Sales Leader, including positioning Adaptive First within the Workday Platform
Co-lead sales efforts focused on Workday Adaptive Planning, while supporting broader engagements across HCM, Financials, and Managed Services
Manage all aspects of the sales cycle from lead generation and scoping to proposal development, RFP/RFI responses, contract negotiation, and closing
Own and provide hyper-responsive service to leads originating from Workday's marketplace, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion
Create micro-vertical content for Workday's marketplace page to support targeted outreach and brand differentiation
Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to build a robust pipeline, expand territory coverage, and exceed sales quotas
Cultivate relationships within key industries such as Professional Services, Technology, Real Estate, Financial Services, and Private Equity/Venture Capital
Partner closely with Sales, Adaptive, and Presales teams to deliver client-centric solutions and shape GTM strategies
Represent Armanino at industry events, webinars, and trade shows to generate leads and promote our unique offerings
Demonstrate operational knowledge of client industries to effectively position Armanino's value proposition
Build trust through clear, impactful communication with prospects, clients, and internal stakeholders
Work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities with agility
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience (Accounting/Finance strongly preferred)
Minimum 3 years' experience selling Workday Adaptive Planning and related technology consulting/implementation services
Proven track record of managing full sales cycles and exceeding quotas
Strong network within the Workday ecosystem and relevant industries
Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Willingness to travel up to 25% to support client engagements and business development
Flexibility to work from home while collaborating in person half the time.

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. The compensation range for this position: $113,000-$133,000 + Commission. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.

Your role.
As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for the development of new business opportunities and your responsibilities will include prospecting, strategizing, leading pursuit teams, closing new business and representing the firm at business and social events.
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities by engaging with key business leaders, attending industry events, and building relationships with prospective clients.
Leading and executing outreach strategies, including prospecting, developing contact plans, and organizing meetings to uncover client needs where the firm can add value.
Collaborating with internal teams to develop and implement pursuit strategies, participate in proposal development, and ensure alignment with firm growth objectives.
Maintaining accurate records of business development activities in the firm's CRM system, and preparing management reports on sales performance, client wins, and outreach efforts.
Representing the firm at targeted association functions, trade shows, and networking events to enhance visibility and promote the firm's services within the market.
The qualifications.
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications (such as CPA, CBDM, or similar) are highly valued.
Proven experience of 7-10 years in business development, sales, or client relationship management within accounting, consulting, or professional services environments with demonstrated success selling $750,000 or more, annually in first year fees.
Ability to effectively:
develop a prospect list, build a pipeline of opportunities and close business
Forecast pipeline accurately
Identify additional revenue opportunities
Build strong relationships within the firm and teams through quality work and leadership
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities and build lasting client partnerships.
Familiarity with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and technology platforms (such as CRM systems and cloud-based accounting tools) to support business growth and operational efficiency.
This position may require some local or national travel.
This is an exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.
