**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

Analysis of Medicare Advantage and Accountable Care Organization data primarily
Medical economics reporting and ad-hoc analysis relating to cost of care management
Medicare Risk score projections and premium estimation
Design and implement an actuarially sound monthly reserving process for Total Medical Expense (TME) estimation
Lead continuous evaluation of TME performance compared to plan expectations
Coordinate with the finance team on future TME projections that are refreshed monthly and provided quarterly for forecasting and planning
Support month end financial and accounting processes for relevant actuarial estimates
Value based care contracting support and ongoing financial and risk analysis
Support ongoing actuarial support for outside auditor review of financial estimates and results
Design studies to monitor the suitability of the completion factor estimates
Lead continuous evaluation of risk based funding and scoring performance compared to plan expectations
Complete the evaluation of stop-loss coverage and manage third party vendors
Analyze and develop new to market assessments and modeling which includes future Medicare geographic expansion and enhancements / changes to other market segments (Commercial potentially)
Basic Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
6+ years of data scientist experience
Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) is required
Experience with Medicare or Medicare Advantage products
Strong knowledge of actuarial reserving, forecasting and medical economics
Expertise in working with medical claims data and using programming languages such as SQL, R, SAS, Python, Snowflake, Tableau/Looker
Ability to work cross functionally and communicate effectively with stakeholders (Operations, Finance, Planning, & Accounting (FP&A), Clinical, etc.)
Bachelor's degree is required

Our Property Tax Team is a forward-thinking group dedicated to managing property tax compliance, audits, and strategic planning across the United States and Canada. Basic Qualifications
10+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
10+ years of tax experience with a significant amount of time providing technical guidance experience
5+ years of managing a high caliber team experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field
10+ years progressive experience in the area of Real and Personal property tax valuation and compliance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within a multinational business and either legal or accountancy firm experience
Experience liaising with tax authorities including responding to audits and information requests
Experience communicating to senior management and customers verbally and in writing
Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks
CPA, JD, or Master's degree
CMI or similar professional designation
Experience with multi-state, multi-entity corporate structures

This position will be based in Visa's San Francisco office.
Responsibilities
Ensure rigorous financial analysis, modeling, and due diligence to build business case for potential transactions, develop effective valuation tools for acquisition target that reflect company's standalone trajectory as well Visa' value creation potential after integration
Lead diligence from finance to conduct interviews with target's management team (CEO, CFO, and others) to build an accurate business case
Design senior executive presentations for CFO, Investment Committee and Board of Directors to support transaction approvals
Support integration efforts and ongoing evaluation of transaction performance
Cultivate trust‑based relationships and effectively communicate cross‑functionally with the broader transactions team including Corporate Development, business partners, product, comptrollership, HR, Tax, and Legal
Structure approaches to evaluate transactions within the Payments industry, and provide fact‑based understanding of competitive landscape to executive leadership

Basic Qualifications
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 5 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
9 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 7 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of relevant experience with a PhD
Bachelor degree in finance, engineering, accounting, mathematics, economics, statistics or related quantitative field.
Superior analytical and problem solving skills, strong attention to detail, able to perform financial modeling and analysis with rigor and accuracy to quantify impact of investments and explain viability of new business models
Expert skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
3-5 years of relevant financial analysis work experience including forecasting and budgeting preferred
Experience in financial elements of mergers, acquisitions, and investments including financial modeling, financial analysis, due diligence, and post‑close performance tracking
Previous experience of doing M&A transactions, deal process, knowledge of capital markets, valuation (multiples, TSR, shareholder value, IRR, DCF)
Support diligence from finance to conduct interviews with the target management team (CEO, CFO, and others) to build an accurate business case
Support integration efforts and ongoing evaluation of transaction performance
Outstanding analytical skills and able to resolve business problems with well‑structured analyses
Competency to contribute to lively discussion with ability to quickly test findings and assertions against a financial body of knowledge
Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and produce time sensitive deliverables
Demonstrates well‑developed strategic, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 149,800.00 to 217,550.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job‑related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
