Ccrd Partners company history timeline
The firm was founded in 1980 as Texas Energy Engineers and incorporated October 6 by David B. Duthu, P.E. (a native of Houma, Louisiana and graduate of Texas A&M University) and partner Kermit S. Harmon, P.E., C.E.M., C.C.P., D.G.C.P., (a native of Paris, Texas).
1983 Presiding President Kermit Harmon.
1984 Presiding President Robert Lahey.
NTAEE was founded in 1985 by a small determined group involved in energy management.
In 1985, the firm expanded operations to Dallas, Texas by providing assistance with the orderly termination of business and closing of the office of William K. Hall & Associates.
1986 Presiding President Jerry Taylor.
AEE celebrates its 10th anniversary in 1987.
1987 Presiding President Victor Ottaviano.
1988 Presiding President Konstantin Lobodovsky.
1989 Presiding President Gerald Culbert.
Wind energy activities at UT Dallas (UTD) started in 2009, one year after the creation of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
What started in 2014 with 5 projects and 9 member companies, has grown to 10 projects and 14 member companies spanning the supply chain of the wind power industry.
In 2015, UTD made a major investment to create a one-of-a-kind wind tunnel for research and education, the Boundary Layer and Subsonic wind Tunnel (BLAST). BLAST was made possible through the vision of former President David E. Daniel and former Jonsson School Dean Mark W. Spong.
