Christine Barnum is the Controller for sister companies CD Baby and BookBaby, the leading distributors of music and eBooks for independent artists, as well as HostBaby, a webhosting service for musicians and authors. She has an extensive background in e-commerce, fraud prevention, royalty auditing, and finance operations. Active in helping to foster a strong company culture, Christine is passionate about building a workplace where employee morale is high, opinions count, hard work is rewarded, and professional development is encouraged.

Christine holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Business from New York University, and a post-baccalaureate certificate in Forensic Accounting. A transplant from New York City, Christine currently lives and gardens in Portland, Oregon with her husband, son, cats, and a small but pleasantly unruly flock of chickens.
