JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES
You must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards as well as access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery. You should possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area and must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS including, but not limited to the following:
Standing
Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
Walking
For short distances for short durations.
Surfaces include ceramic tile bricks with linoleum in some food process areas. Height of work surfaces is between 36 and 48.
Sitting
Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
Lifting
Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded by the team member using a hand truck.
Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions of up to 3' x 1.5'.
Cases are usually lifted from floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72 high.
Carrying
Large cans, weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces, are carried from the workstation to storage shelves.
Occasionally, pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds is carried from the storage room to the front of the store.
Trays of pizza dough are carried three at a time over short distances, and weigh approximately 12 pounds per tray.
Pushing
To move trays which are placed on dollies. A stack of trays on a dolly is approximately 24- 30 and requires a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push.
Trays may also be pulled.
Climbing
Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance.

Requirements
Driving Qualifications
All required documents and certifications must be maintained throughout employment.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Possess a valid CA Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with a passenger endorsement.
Maintain a valid Medical Card for Class B (must obtain within 30 days of hire).
Hold a current VDDP Certification through CHP (must obtain within 30 days of hire).
Maintain CPR and First Aid Certification (must obtain within 30 days of hire).
Prior experience in transport services preferred.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and comply with ongoing random DOT drug testing.
Maintenance Qualifications
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance (oil changes, tire maintenance, brake replacements, belt replacement).
Previous mechanic experience is a plus.

Compensation
Compensation for California resident professional drivers is comprised of (1) Hourly Pay and (2) Production Pay. Hourly Pay is calculated by multiplying the total hours worked by $18.00 per hour. Production Pay is calculated as any amount above your Hourly Pay based on the Trip Calculations Amount. The Trip Calculations Amount is based on the trip mileage. Hourly Pay plus Production Pay will equal $0.88 per mile. In the event that Hourly Pay plus Production Pay does not exceed an hourly wage of $18.00 per hour, you will be paid your total hours worked multiplied by $18.00 per hour. Trips are not considered complete until the load has been fully delivered and the completed paperwork is turned in. Production Pay is not earned until the trip it is associated with is completed and trip paperwork is received by the Company. Your pay includes payment for all actions required to manage and complete the trip and fully deliver the load. Pay for all loading, unloading, fueling, inspections, rest breaks, and other duties and tasks that are required to complete the trip are included in your pay, including uploading the trip paperwork into Transflo within 12 hours of completion of the load.
Additional Rest Break Pay
In addition to the Hourly Base Pay, the Company will also pay you Additional Rest Break Pay. You will earn Additional Rest Break Pay for 10-minute Rest Breaks as set forth in the following table:

Benefits
Landair offers a comprehensive benefits program.
