Pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations usually within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center. The loading and unloading of trailers utilizing the same techniques, technology and procedures as a dock worker. Actual duties and schedule may vary depending on terminal location.
Responsibilities
* Other duties, as assigned.
* Perform various tasks ranging from check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, tractor set up, and the pickup and delivery of cargo.
* Load and unload cargo.
* Operate a forklift as needed.
* Exercise independent judgment regarding the building and tearing down of the trailer to utilize time, resources, energy, and physical demands effectively and efficiently, while complying with all weight distribution laws.
* Complete routine paperwork effectively, and properly log loading sheets.
Requirements
Education:
* High School Diploma / GED
Experience:
* 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (Candidates with less than 1 year experience may be eligible for training).
Additional Requirements:
* Minimum 21 years of age.
* Good stable work record.
* Have a Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazardous materials endorsements and no automatic restriction.
* Safe driving record (from MVR and previous employment).
* Be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safely operates company vehicles to transport participants to and from their homes, CEI sites, off-site medical appointments, and/or activity outings.
Provides physical assistance and monitoring to participants from the pickup or drop-off location to the vehicle and as they get on and off the van, lifting as necessary. May occasionally be instructed to go into participants' homes.
Reports any special situation in participants' homes, or while on the road, to the Road Supervisor including changes in participants' behavior or appearance that may indicate an alteration in medical condition.
Provides other transportation as directed, including medication or supply delivery.
Handles potentially infectious specimens with appropriate biohazard precautions, and practices Universal Precautions.
Performs regular maintenance of the vehicle: Cleans daily; completes daily maintenance check list; ensures that vehicle operates effectively with good brakes, lights, and other equipment necessary for safe operation; checks gas, oil and tires on a daily basis.
Reports all unusual incidents or accidents and completes appropriate reports.
Accurately completes, and turns in, daily route sheets and other paperwork in a timely manner.
Maintains courteous, respectful attitude towards participants and their families.
Maintains cooperative, professional work relationship with other members of treatment team.

Basic First Aid Life Saving Skills and CPR certification obtained within two weeks of orientation, and maintained regularly throughout time working at CEI.
Knowledge of how to use and maintain positions equipment (e.g. vehicle, lift, tie-downs).
Knowledge of safety requirements and defensive driving techniques.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Knowledge of Alameda and/or West Contra County areas.
Must pass, and maintain certification under DOT Regulations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Physical Requirements - Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing, walking, pushing, bending, kneeling and reaching at arm's length and overhead in clinic, rehab department and in community for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to transfer participants needing maximum assist of one. Requires the ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull objects exceeding 150 pounds, using appropriate body mechanics.
Visual, Hearing and Communication Requirements - requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Must be able to communicate verbally with participants their treatment plan, team members and participants caregivers.
Pressure Factor - requires working under stressful conditions. Working conditions may be noisy and crowded and fluctuating indoor temperatures. Moderate pressure to meet scheduled appointments while dealing with frail and confused participants. Subject to participants that may have the potential for verbal or physical aggression.
Environmental Conditions - May be exposed to a risk of bodily injury through contact with moving instrumentation, toxic substances, medicinal preparations, bodily fluids, communicable diseases and any other conditions common in a clinic environment. Subject to unpleasant odors.

**Responsibilities:**
* Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including but not limited to tractor trailers, tankers, roll-offs, and box trucks, in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
* Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition.
* Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following all applicable DOT regulations.
* Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately
* Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
* Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.
* Properly secure load to ensure safe & compliant transportation of materials
* Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills.
* Rotating on-call responsibilities as part of our Emergency Response team
Basic Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
* Active Hazmat
* Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is required.
* Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Must have a reliable form of transportation

Requirements **Essential Skills and Knowledge:**
· Safely operate vehicle in a variety of traffic and weather conditions.
· Meet or exceed minimum productivity levels established by the Company.
· Effectively plan and organize work activities independent of direct supervision.
· Develop a good working knowledge of product and inventory control techniques and procedures.

**Essential Duties:**

· Frequently lift, push, or move products that weigh 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds; frequently reach up to 72” to stack and unstack pallets and hand cart; constantly bend and pivot while loading and unloading product, and retrieving items from trailer.
· Operate assigned hand-held unit to generate invoices. Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures. Contact management for authorization when discrepancies on invoice and communicate all errors/returns.
· Pickup, load and unload damaged goods and customer returns, and complete necessary paperwork.
· Perform pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Company policies and procedures.
· Perform coupling procedures for the tractor/trailer as needed.
· Complete Department of Transportation (DOT) logs (electronic or manual as required), company vehicle maintenance reports and reconcile with appropriate company representative as required.
· Follow Company preferred work methods at all times, and immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions.
· Maintain sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer or bobtail truck.
· Attending all required company meetings.
· Other duties may be assigned.
**Basic Qualifications:**
· Valid Class A or B with a “clean” driving record.
· Must be able to pass fingerprinting for the school District.
· Must possess and be able to present a valid non-expired interstate Medical Examiner's Certificate Card (MEC).

We have an immediate need for a driver who is responsible for delivering bulk CO2 liquid, hi-pressure cylinders, and other products to customers on an established route.
NuC02 is the largest national provider of beverage grade liquid CO2 to the food service and hospitality industry.
The driver will handle the following responsibilities
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip evaluation of assigned vehicle on a daily basis, following the company operation procedure and complete all required documentation.
Execute scheduled route plans.
Use handheld device for routing information, customer delivery information, and communicate with assigned depot.
Responsible for the safe and accurate loading, transporting and unloading of CO2 products for delivery. Obtains required signatures from customers as needed.
Ensures assigned delivery vehicle receives basic servicing according to the maintenance schedule.
Maintains professional demeanor, and customer service orientation in daily deliveries to customers.
Completes logs and reports as requested. Maintains basic records of truck mileage, deliveries made, and other pertinent data as needed.
Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed.
The selected candidate must-
Must be able to read and write English.
Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds and frequently maneuver 56-175 pounds.
Have the ability to pull and retract a fill hose with distance up to 100 feet.
Possess a CDL B license, tanker, hazmat endorsement, no airbrake restrictions, and possess a current medical card.
Must have 1-year commercial driving experience.
Pass a pre-employment physical, drug and road test.
