Job Description Transport, unload, and deliver products and materials to customers within our coverage delivery area. Drive truck to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle in difficult situations, such as narrow passageways. Inspects trucks for defects before and after trips and submits reports indicating truck condition. Maintain driver log according to D.O.T. regulations. Unload trucks at multiple stops, including some overnight deliveries to stores/restaurants, and other designated locations. Provide courteous, prompt, and professional customer service. Complete all delivery-related paperwork, including bills of lading, delivery confirmations, and inspection reports. Emergency Preparedness: Know and follow emergency procedures for accidents, breakdowns, or hazardous situations. Report any violations or potential safety risks to management promptly. Additional Duties: Be prepared to undertake extra tasks as directed by management, such as inventory management or special delivery requests. Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Must possess a Class A valid driver's license and valid DOT Medical Card • 2+ years of verifiable experience preferred. • Must possess and maintain a good driving record. • Must be 25 years of age or older. • Ability to repeatedly lift up to 80 pounds in order to unload trucks at multiple locations. • Physical capability of pulling and pushing handcarts in excess of 200 pounds. • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills to maintain accurate records of deliveries. • High school diploma or equivalent.
