Follows all safety protocol while completing route.
Drives trucks following all rules of the road and route safety along established routes (in order as per route sheet) and to disposal sites
Operates compressing equipment safely and per protocol. Safely disposes of garbage at designated transfer stations.
Updates customer account data after each stop on the provided tablet.
When a jumper is not available, operates truck in addition to tipping the carts.
Keeps informed of road and weather conditions; works with Field Supervisor to determine how routes will be affected. Maintains flexibility.
Other duties as reasonably expected in the waste industry as assigned by manager.

Who You Are:
A highly motivated and hard-working, reliable, and punctual Delivery Driver. Someone who is ambitious and hardworking and does not mind working in various weather conditions. This is a high-touch position that requires the Delivery Driver to assist with loading and unloading.
What You Will Be Doing:
Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick-up route for the day.
Loads and unloads truck of glass scheduled for delivery.
Delivers glass to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
Picks up glass along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested.
Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.
Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.
Assists in general warehouse duties when the delivery route is completed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills You Bring:
CDL license with minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience after school.
Must be able to pass a 7 yr MVR
Must load and unload truck before, during, and after driving routes daily.
Flatbed experience highly preferred
Moffett experience highly preferred
High School diploma or equivalent
Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
Must be able to work in hot or cold temperatures.
Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
Ability to plan delivery routes.
Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
