As a local Delivery Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering propane to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes
Filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane
Delivering propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers
Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely load, transport, and unload products at designated customer locations.
Operate a commercial vehicle along established routes to deliver, stock, and stage products.
Set up promotional displays and deliver marketing materials as needed.
Verify shipment accuracy and ensure product is in saleable condition upon delivery.
Address and resolve customer concerns or discrepancies in a professional manner.
Collect empty containers, returns, and unsold merchandise for processing.
Complete daily inventory, delivery invoices, and proof of delivery documentation.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
Assist with basic truck maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle activity as required by DOT.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required.

Transport Fuel Delivery Driver

We have an immediate opening for a Daytime CDL Class A with X Endorsement and TWIC card in Palm City. The responsibilities of the Class A CDL Route Driver position include:
•Operates a 53' tractor-trailer truck as directed that transports between the facility and multiple destinations. Typical routes are within a 100-mile radius of the home terminal
•Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery and/or pick-up of fuels to ensure timely service.
•Makes deliveries of fuel and diesel in accordance with customer needs and company policies.

Equipment Operator II's operate larger vehicles requiring a higher level of skill than those at Equipment Operator I level to drive and maneuver in and around confined areas.
Equipment Operator III - Starting at $19.32 per hour:
The purpose of this classification is to drive and operate Solid Waste vehicles and other equipment with specialized functions that involve the operation of complex mechanisms to complete tasks in addition to driving and maneuvering the vehicle. Equipment in this classification is automated, requiring a high level of skill, dexterity, and finesse. Classification is reserved for those positions where operation of included equipment is the primary function of the job.

Equipment Operator I - Starting at $16.08 per hour:

This job requires physical labor.

Duties:
Drivers will pick up a fully loaded trailer from the distribution center.
Trailer will typically contain 10 - 15 stores worth of product, varies throughout the week.
Most trailers will cover 1.5 - 2 days, drivers usually work 3 trailers a week
Once arrived at store, manager must unseal the trailer, driver is not to break the seal
Drivers do not unload products from the rolltainers for the store or put on shelves
Driver will hand push rolltainers fully loaded with cases of refrigerated product out of the trailer onto an electric lift gate
(2-3 rolltainers can fit on liftgate with driver) 3-4 rolltainers average per store
At times driver will be expected to down stack rolltainers if too heavy (remove extra product by hand and load onto u-boat or other rolltainer)
Driver will take electric liftgate to the ground & push carts to the store
.52 - .58 CPM
$20 per stop
$1,300 average weekly pay
Layover & detention pay
Annual profit sharing bonus of $2,700
Quarterly safety bonus paid out at $.35 CPM on all miles driven per quarter
2 day orientation in AL. Hotel room provided.
